𝔹𝕒𝕝𝕝𝕖𝕣𝕚𝕟𝕒 ~ 𝕁𝕒𝕧𝕚𝕖𝕣 𝔼𝕤𝕔𝕦𝕖𝕝𝕝𝕒 𝕏 𝕆𝕔

3:Horseshoe Overlook

It's been at least four or more days and we're finally on our way out. The boys are planning a train robbery so we can start off on at least a bit of money. We caught an O'Driscoll, that's how we found out about the train.

"Gear up! We're heading out!" Dutch's raspy voice makes me snap out of my thoughts and get into action. I get up on my horse and follow the men, it feels a bit sexist to be the only woman riding with them but. Why would I complain when I get to be in the action to?

After a portion of riding Dutch stars talking about Faith and Loyalty, how we are all special to him. I cut him out of my head there, I've heard to much of his. Or I can't help it. These past days have got me thinking a lot.

"Juliette?" Javier snaps me out of my thoughts when we come to a stop. "You ok? You seem kind of sad...?" He gives me a worried look. "No, no I've just been lost in thought lately." I reply honestly as we wait for the Train to come from the top of a hill looking over the tracks.

"Here she comes." Dutch says pulling his bandanna up, we all do the same. Bill pushes down the plunger but nothing happens with the dynamite. "Shit!" I'm the first one to react.

I jump off my horse and sprint as fast as I can to the other end of the hill to try and jump on the train with Arthur, Lenny and Javier with me. We all jump off at the same time, leaving not a lot of space to land for all of us. Arthur and Lenny get a lot of space while me and Javier are at verge of falling off.

I latch onto the side and quickly grab Javiers hand before he falls. "Fuck!" I didn't know how heavy he is. Arthur was about to help us up when I let go and tumbled to the ground. We hit and roll to try and and not hit as hard, we end up side by side laying on the tracks.

"You ok?" Javier grunts as he curls up in a ball holding his ankle. "Yeah... You?" I chuckle out gripping my shoulder from how I pulled it from impact. "Kind of bad." He laughs out. I slowly sit up and look at him in his little ball. "Your heavy." "Shut up." He laughs out.

I help him up and we whistle for our horses. We mount up and go as fast as we can in the direction of where to train went.

We soon find them and come to a stop.

It was like yesterday we were stuck in the mountains. Freezing and losing hope. Now we're in a place called Horseshoe Overlook. Very pretty calm place, I've already been in Valentine a long time ago so its familiar here.

I sit in the saloon with Javier and Charles, waiting for Arthur and Bill. I sit there trying to drink the nice and horrible memory's here. I order another drink feeling tipsy, Javier and Charles have two woman between them. I almost feel bad for the woman.

Two sluts being seduced by outlaws, heartless ones, as sad it sounds it's true. Feelings in what we do aren't a thing. They can be, but only sometimes.

The bartender pours me another drink making me crave it, I chug the substance and get stares from the two woman. "What?" I look at the whores of 'woman'.

They look away from me making me laugh at how low there confidence is towards me. There's none.

Arthur comes in, finally, and walks over to us. I order another drink and look around the saloon with my beer in hand. I see three men looking at me, all standing together and whistling at me.

Men as ugly as them are cat calling woman thinking there that horny? Jesus, they really are dumb as rocks. I think to myself and laugh. I down my glass again and point up my middle finger to them. Then look away like nothing happen.

I wonder if it's still here... I zone out about something I've left here a long time ago. Just as I start to get comfortable with my zoning out... Whiskey glasses are thrown along with punches.

I look around to see all four of my friends in a little fight. I decide to pick my own. One of the three men are backing close to me. Not knowing I was still there.

I smash my glass on his head earning a painful grunt from him, as soon as he turns around I use all the strength I have and punch him out. He falls to the floor unconscious.

"Come here greaser!" Gets my full attention. I look around and see Javiers head getting smashed onto a table. I start running over to them, and grab a beer bottle on the way. I smash it on his head and make him turn around towards me.

"Get out of here whore!" He yells while basically throwing me over the bars counter. I grunt when I hit the floor. After a couple seconds of painful groans I hear glass smash and loud thuds.

I slowly get up and look over the counter, Arthur is fighting the man and the window is laying in pieces on the floor. I look down to were Javier was. He's sitting down how I was but holding his head instead.

"Damn. I thought you were good at fighting Escuella." I jump over the counter and help him up. "I thought the same to you Miss. Baker." We both walk out side to see the fight.

Of course Arthur wins and gets stopped by a sick looking man. We end up meeting Dutch and Trelawny a couple minutes later. But as soon as they started talking about Sean they had my full attention.

Sean? Does that mean I get to see him again?!

I look at all of them like a happy puppy. "Can I join?" I ask Dutch to see if I can help getting him out. "You can sit this one out Juliette, those boys will get him out quick." I get excited at his words and nod happily.

I whistle to Foubre and start heading back to camp to relax for once. Maybe practice my stretches to....

Sean... My best man. We're very good friends, always got along and hopefully always will. We've always talked about getting out of this life and settling down somewhere, he talks about finding a wife and having a family. I do to. He's so close he even knows my little secret. Ballet, he made fun of me at first but when I did a little bit of it in front of him he shut up.

I laugh at the fond memories I've had with him and finish my journey back to camp, hitching my horse.

I hope they get to him quick enough.
