I lay on the grassy ground near the fire stretching, everyone knows my weird talent of flexibility so they don't really mind. I sit in a split position, holding my ankle.
I exhale a bit louder then usual and do the same to the other leg. This felt very normal but everyone thought I was trying to hurt myself. "Oh god! Juliette stop!" Grimshaw tried getting me out of my position. I went even further making her cringe, I was now touching my toes and giggling at her face.
I slowly came out of holding my toes and just sat there for a while in the splits to get used to the feeling of it. I raised myself up and stood, shook out my legs and decided to get a drink.
I walked to the beer crate, grabbed a bottle, opened it and took a sip. The sound of hooves made me keep the beer in my mouth, not swallowing. I look to the noise. Sean himself on the back of Javiers horse.
I spit the beer out and drop the bottle, running over to Sean as he jumps off the horse. "Sean you dibshit!" I yell and embrace him in a hug. He instantly hugs back and laughs. "Missed ya' to English!"
{The Party}
Me and Sean sit together playing a drinking game, drink or dare. Yes, we kind of made it up a year back.
The rules are you either have to do the dare someone tells you or drink a big shot of whiskey. It was my turn now.
"I dare ya' ta' pour some beer on Bill..." Sean leans over and whispers in my ear, I giggle and get up heading to where Bill sat with Javier and Lenny. Bill smells way drunker then everyone so I guess I can pretend I didn't do it.
I walk up behind him and quickly pour the beer over his head, Javier and Lenny watch all my movements trying not to give me away by laughing. I quickly turn around and pretend like nothing happened. "Who the hell did that?!" I hear Bill yell while trying to find someone to blame.
I sit back beside Sean, he's laughing so hard he's almost wheezing. "Good one!" He yells and pats my back. "Ok... I dare you to go flirt with... Karen!" I say the last part a bit louder. Sean looks around for the blonde and gets up straightening his collar. "Watch an' learn English." He says cheekily while walking up to an also drunk Karen.
I start off laughing but it soon goes away when I see them kissing and walking over to Johns tent. Welp... There probably gonna be in there for a while..
I start going to the main campfire and take a seat right next to Lenny on the log. The three of us who sit at the campfire start to relax and enjoy the sweet sounds Javier makes while strumming his guitar.
I feel a tug at my jacket and look to my side to see Jack wearing my goggles, I usually wear them during big robbery's or crime sprees... He looks so adorable in them...
"Hey how'd you get that magnifique?" I compliment him but still ask how he found them. "They were just laying on your table and they look so cool!" He gets a little loud making Javier and Lenny look at him. "Aren't those the silly thing you wear during robbery's?" Javier chuckles out.
"There not silly!" Jack protests for me. "Yeah, there not silly you idiote! There incroyable!" I add while grabbing them off Jacks head and putting them on myself. I point both my middle fingers at him as a joke, to my surprise Jack sticks his tongue out at him.
I laugh and put the goggles back on Jacks face. "You can hold onto them, don't brake them though! It took me forever to find that!" I make sure he promises. "Promise Auntie Juliette!" The word Auntie makes my heart explode. "Je pense que j'aime les enfants ..." I mutter to myself as Jack walks away with the goggles on.
{An hour later ÙwÚ}
I sit and the end of camp, looking for some privacy. Ever since I've last been here years ago, I buried something here, my most treasured items. I dig in my satchel and find the photo I've had for so long. I find it and look at it for a second.
A 28 year old me with a tight bun, my blue ballet outfit and white Pointes. I turn to the back and look at the clue I wrote when I buried it just for a moment like this, when I want to see them again.
'𝒲𝒽𝑒𝓇𝑒 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒲𝑜𝓁𝒻 𝑔𝑜𝑒𝓈 𝓌𝒽𝑒𝓃 𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓇𝑒 𝓂𝒾𝓈𝓈𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝒽𝑜𝓂𝑒, 𝓌𝒽𝑒𝓇𝑒 𝒾𝓉 𝓇𝑒𝓂𝑒𝓂𝒷𝑒𝓇𝓈 𝒶𝒷𝑜𝓊𝓉 𝒽𝑜𝓂𝑒.' My handwriting said on the back. Then I see a weird symbol '♆'. Really? 'Wolf?' I try remembering what I meant but nothing came to mind.
What does a wolf mean? What did I mean? Maybe someone knows about wolves around here. I look around and my eyes land on Arthur. He's kind of wise, I guess...
I get up and walk to him at the table. "Hey Arthur I need some help cracking a little mystery..." He chuckles as I try to act suspicious.
"What is it?" I put the back faced up for him to read. He quickly reads it and looks back up to me. "Who wrote this?" "Younger me." I groan and try thinking harder now. "Wolf?" He asks again. "Shut up! I buried something a long time ago and I didn't want anyone finding it..." I say the last part quieter.
The thought finally comes to me. Wolves mean bad luck if you've done bad things... While Deer's mean the exact opposite, so did I mean sinner? "I got it!" I whisper yelled at Arthur with excitement.
He hummed still thinking. "Wolf means sinner, so did I mean I was a sinner?" I asked myself and then looked at him. "That makes sense..." he mumbled. I think hard once again at what I called home around here, or what made me think about it.
A big hill, or cliff, overlooking Valentine was a very pretty place that I remembered. Is that it? I let myself calm down from excitement and then make my choice. It's decided, I'll go and check it out!
