Darmsha twirled the key in his hand as he sat on the couch with the others, everyone had no clue what it could be to. They continued to suggest stuff like, maybe it's an extra key for if he's locked out of his room? Or another box somewhere? Darmsha kept calling the ideas stupid or that they made no sense. No one had any clue where this key could go, Shadas just sat on the floor, looking inside the metal box for any clue. Nothing could be found but the plans of the house, the two floors and showing where all the bedrooms, bathrooms, and other necessities were. Everyone already knew the house well enough, there were no hidden rooms on the plans either. Most of the paper was empty other than words like "chamber 1-2" or "Tluc", the rest was just full of building words and measurements. They hit a dead end on their discoveries, Darmsha threw the key off to the side, hitting Shadas on her head as he walked off. "Not waisting my fucking time" he snapped, going up to Graves room to sleep.
Graves and Shadas also started to lose hope, there was nothing special about the plans, or about the key, no words, nothing. They set the key and plans back into the box and got up, putting it back under the sink they went to their rooms, upset from the downfall of what could've been an exciting adventure. Everyone continued what they were doing before, Graves played with his rats as Shadas and Judas hung out and chatted about what just happened.
Eventually might fall came, Brian came home and went to his room. Everyone got ready for bed, getting changed into their Pajamas, taking meds or showers, everyone got relaxed and went to sleep.
At midnight Darmsha laid restless, he wanted to know what was the point of that key, he NEEDED to know! He got up and crept out of Graves room, as he went down the stairs, a weird bluish purplish light caught his eyes. He went to the couches where the light was coming from and saw his smaller brother holding a black light over the house plans. Darmsha looked over his shoulder and realized, there was a hidden basement plan, written in something that can only be seen with a black light.
"How did you know?" Darmsha asked suddenly, causing his smaller brother to flinch and drop the light. "Pfft, clumsy idiot" Darmsha flicked his brothers head, grabbing the black light. "I-it was Shadas's idea, she's really smart, and I thought I would try it!" He smiled innocently. "Well, I'll have to thank her later, does it show where the basement door is?" Darmsha asks, pointing the black light back at the plans. They eventually find where the basement door was hidden, and agreed to wake up Shadas, Graves, and Midnight to check it out.
"Remember, Brian has kept this hidden from us, we need to discover his secret, how bad can they be?" Darmsha chuckled.
