Hold On

Jade: This is inspired by 'Hold On' by Chord Overstreet. For the Jaster shippers, Amane and Camillia, just imagine this is Jaster Angst-
Scenario: Mitsuba is depressed. Kou tries to cheer him up but one day, Mitsuba had enough.

'Loving and fighting, accusing uniting'

Mitsuba and Kou have been dating for 3 months. Sometimes they argued. Sometimes they comforted eachother when their sad.

'I can't imagine a world with you gone.'

Mitsuba wanted to cut himself due to his depression. Kou said this to stop him.

'The joy and the chaos, the demons we're made of.'

Kou cherished the memories he had with Mitsuba.

'I'd be so lost if you left me alone.'

Kou thought. Mitsuba told him he would never cut again. But he lied.

'Locked yourself in the bathroom, lying on the floor when I break through.'

Mitsuba locks himself in the bathroom. Stabs himself in the chest and collapses onto the floor. Kou kicks down the door and is met with an unconscious Mitsuba.

'I pull you in to feel your heartbeat.'

Kou pulls him in. He feels no pulse in Mitsuba's motionless body.

'Can you hear me screaming please don't leave me '

Kou begged Mitsuba to wake up. But he never did.

'Hold on I still want you, come back i still need you...'

He begged Mitsuba to wake up. Tears start to form in his eyes.

'Let me take your hand, I'll make it right, I swear to love you all my life...'

Kou said as he held to motionless boy.

'Hold on I still need you'

Kou held Mitsuba bridal style and went to the car.

'Long endless highway, you're silent beside me.'

He drove on the way to the nearest hospital.

'Driving a nightmare I can't escape from..'

Kou had wished that this was a bad dream. But, this was reality.

'Helplessly praying, the light isn't fading...'

Mitsuba was going to go to the other side of Kou didn't do anything. He wasn't going to do that.

'Hiding the shock and to he chill in my bones.'

Kou couldn't get the memory out of his head. A few minutes later, they finally got there.

'They took you away on the table, pace back and forth as you lay still..'

The doctors took Mitsuba away for treatment.

'They pull you in to feel your heartbeat'

The doctors feel Mitsuba's heartbeat.

Kou is outside.

'Can you hear me screaming Please Don't Leave Me'

He cries and prays that Mitsuba was going to be alive.

'Hold on I still want you, come back i still need you...'

Kou said as he cried.

'Let me take your hand, I'll make it right..'

The doctors told Kou that Mitsuba was in a coma.

' I swear to love you all my life '

Kou visited Mitsuba in the hospital for a month. He likes it when he visits him.

'Hold on I still want you, come back i still need you..'

Kou is told that if Mitsuba does not wake up in a month, they will be forced to pull the plug.

'Let me take your hand, i'll make it right, swear to love you all my life.'

Kou goes to visit Mitsuba and he tells him that he needs to wake up.

'Hold on I still need you'

Kou is told that Mitsuba's time is up and Mitsuba is buried in a grave.

'I don't want to let go, I know I'm not that strong, I just wanna hear you, saying Baby let's go home..'

Kou goes to Mitsuba's grave. He says this and he feels cold air around him and no one else feels it.

'Lets go home, yeah I just wanna take you home..'

Kou now suffers from depression. He doesn't want to date anyone else. He just wants Mitsuba.

'Hold on I still want you.. come back i still need you..'

Kou comes back to Mitsuba's grave two weeks later, the gravestone read:

' Here lies Mitsuba Sousuke.
2005-2020.
Death by sucide. He will be missed'
