London 2020

(YN's) P.O.V

I stared out the wall-sized window of my high-end apartment. The sun was about to rise soon. A large demonic-winged bat creature stared back at me. The window reflects the true form of my soul back to me. At one point the sight of it would have scared me. It reminded me of the time when I broke Jonathan Harker's mirror because he had almost seen what I was back at my castle in 1897. I remember that year, 1897.

By that time I still had a plan. A concrete layout of how I would start in England the ultimate insult of God, the turning and subjugation of his favorite creation, the human race. Everything had gone exactly as I had planned. Properties of all sizes around the country covertly transformed into hideouts for my future kind and soil if necessary for me. Harker disposed of by my brides or at least I thought and most importantly a ship to transport me to London. All was still according to plan until I met her, Mina. I stopped recounting the past. Frankly I was too bored to continue. Looking out into the London night cityscape wasn't helping either. My eyes had already taken in every last detail of the view the night prior. I had already grown bored of that too.

A knock was heard at my door. Lucy Mills had arrived. She was a young and now immortal light-skinned English-African. I know, another experiment with the name Lucy. It's not a fetish just a coincidence. She was my newest experiment. The woman was somewhat more special than my previous ones. Lucy was special because out of all people of centuries worth of drinking and turning, she was the only one who consented to be drunken from and eventually turned. So carefree and unafraid of death and what I was.

Those qualities were something I'd never come across. The woman was so open I even admitted to her the truth that I had forgotten how to love and that all my romance was just a facade. " I don't mind, (YN). " I remembered her say after I drank from her after our second date. " We have all eternity to figure it out. " She was right after all. I don't think I was gonna get bored of her anytime soon. I opened the door to meet her. Lucy was wearing a red glitter dress and her black hair was curled. " May I come in babe? " She asked with her signature flirty grin. Her face elicited a slight smile from me. " Of course. " I replied while moving out of the way and shutting the door once she entered.

" Aren't you gonna pour me a glass? " Lucy asked. My eyes looked back to the wine bottle of blood I had procured from the local blond bank on the table. " Oh no, Lucy. " I began with a chuckle. " You're gonna enjoy a much better vintage when the two people who followed you arrive. " Her eyes widened. " I was followed? " She asked cautiously. I put my hands on her shoulders to comfort her. " Only because I wanted it to happen. It takes a bit of time to get used to your heightened senses. " Ah, they're here. "

My door was opened and a man and a woman walked in. The woman was none other than Zoe Van Hellsing, a descendant of my previous hunter nemesis while the man was a member of her family's top-secret hunting association. Clearly a young desk type, not a hunter. I recognized him as Jack Seward, another descendant of my original enemies. Zoe Van Hellsing decided to bring him in to view me after I was captured one time.

She and the Hellsing Foundation had hunted me ever since my faked death at my castle in 1897. Many of their hunters had faced me and never lived to tell the tale. The only major victories they ever had over me was the killings of my experiments when I let them loose on the world. " I'm a bit underwhelmed, Ms. Hellsing. " I said while pointing to the man. " I wasn't expecting special forces. " Zoe chuckled at my bored sarcasm then coughed loudly. " That's the point Dracula. " She said. " I'm not here to hunt. " The woman was looking quite pale for a human. My senses came to the conclusion that she was dying of cancer.

Lucy's smile grew when she laid her eyes on the man. " Jack! " She squealed. " It's so good to see you! " Lucy turned to me " It's my lovely ex. " I smirked. " Consider that my revenge on the Seward line. " I mocked. Jack's breathing heightened as he slowly backed away from her, clearly terrified by what she was. " Why are you backing away Jack? " She asked flirtatiously. " Don't you want to kiss me? " I watched on as Lucy slowly repeated her desire for a kiss as she got closer and closer. Isn't that romantic? A member of the Seward family is once again infatuated with a woman named Lucy.
