"Ruined Plans"

Previously: You and Quinton start to cuddle again
"You always do this Madeline!" Alison yells as she looks at the two of you...

You untangle yourselves and sit on the bed cross-legged,"What do you mean?"

"You always ruin my plans, I hate you!" She yells and runs out.

Your eyes start tearing up in confusion and pain, as you look at where she was standing.

"Hey, it's gonna be okay trust me", Quinton says as he puts his arms around your waist and puts his head on your shoulder. You loosen up and turn towards him. He releases you from his grip and he stares into your eyes. Your eyes are filled with tears which soon start pouring down you face. He hugs you and reassures you that everything will be okay.

You then say, "I don't deserve such a good person like you Quin."

Quinton replies,"don't say that."

"B-but it's true", you reply between sniffles.

"Let's just...give her some time okay? She'll come around", he replies, "In the mean while, we better get some sleep before tonight."

"What's tonight?" You question.

"Oh nothing much", he replies realising he made a mistake.

"O...kay...", You suspiciously say.
I gotta find out You think.

"Let's go back to sleep", he says.

"Can we cuddle?" He cocks his head to the side.

"Sure"

"Wait so does this mean I'm forgiven?" You raise an eyebrow.

"If you cuddle with me I might take it into consideration", he smirks.

"You're such a baby", you smack his hand lightly.

"I haven't cuddled with you for a long time though", he pouts.

"It was only one night and plus it was your decision that you wanted to sleep on a dang river bank!" You say in a sassy tone.

"Well maybe if you hadn't said mean things to me then I wouldn't have!"

"Maybe if–"

"Could the both of you stop bickering like five year olds!" Catriona yells as she pokes her head into your room.

You and Quinton fall silent and look in different directions.

"By the way where's Alison?" Cat asks.

"She yelled at Maddie and ran somewhere", Quinton answers.

"Oh cheesecake, we have to find her", Cat replies in a worried tone.

"No, you have to find her because we're gonna cuddle", you pout.

"I'm gonna stay with Maddie, I'm sleepy", Quinton agrees.

"No you're not sleepy! You just want to be around her!" She yells.

"That's not–"

"Yes it is true that's why you aren't gonna come! Alison was there when this Gremlin stuffed up! But now where are you when she needs you? You're tryna get cuddled by the dang Gremlin!" Catriona yells furiously.

Tears start pouring down your face. Geez you're one big cry baby aren't ya.

"Maddie I didn't mean–"

"I think you've said enough Catriona please leave", Quinton furiously defended you.

"It's okay, I didn't–"
