I walked into the library to see Juliet sitting down by herself doing her homework, and I walk over to where she's sitting
"We have a whole test next period and you're just now coming in" Juliet says getting mad that I'm just now entering five minutes late
"I was talking to Ms.Williams about getting extra credit" I say while getting my papers out to study
"Oh...well whatever now come on we need to ace this calculus test" she says with excitement
Juliet practically made me smart because I swear if it wasn't for her pushing me to do my best I wouldn't be in any AP classes and would probably be failing everything cause of how lazy I am
"AP Calculus is too much might just drop it" I say joking but I don't think she found it funny
"No your not, Amelia shut up" she says in a serious tone
"I was joking" I say smiling
"No now start studying" She says pointing at my paper

After school, I was waiting for Juliet so we can start walking home when I saw the most bitchiest girl in school Hannah, Hannah Avery
"Oh my gosh Amelia are you okay, you know since tomorrow marks a year that Isabella has been missing" she says in the most annoying way ever just to bother me
"Listen here you little bi-"
I was cut off by Juliet saying "we're fine thank you" then taking my hand and walking me away from them
Juliet always avoided drama and would never let me get into an argument even when the people be saying the most
We just went to the cafe to do our studies like we do every day, me and her are in all ap classes and honestly it's extremely tiring but our dream school is Princeton University and the only way to get into that school is by being extremely smart and no matter what I can't give up
Juliet was doing her work but I was just dozing off I'm tired of only studying and going to school and doing programs, I wanna have fun I wanna live my life to the fullest but everyone thinks that if I even just go to one party I will throw my whole life away and give up
"Amelia do your work no slacking" Juliet says snapping her fingers in my face
"Okay I will" I say annoyed then going back to doing my work

We finished studying and It was 7:00pm so we finally decided to go home
"Let's take an uber home I'm not walking" Juliet says
"I don't trust ubers come on we're walking" I say dragging her out the cafe
She sighs and pouts "but we're wearing the basic catholic school girl outfit with skirts its dangerous" she says not wanting to walk
"Ooo maybe we'll see an hot guy" I say not really being scared
We walk home and decided to take the short cut that was through an old parking lot that nobody ever goes to anymore because it's filled with graphite and people swear gang violence goes on here
But I don't believe it because there's no proof that anything has happened here
Everything that's abandoned people always assume gang violence happens there
"Amelia we gonna die" she says scared
"No we're not shut up" I say still walking in the parking and she just lets out a sigh
While we were walking we started to hear people argue and just looked over at each other
Out of curiosity we went to go see what was going on, as we get close to the sound of the people we see two tall figures that looks like a guy beating up another guy
One of the guys takes out a gun and Juliet gasp, they both turn their head towards us but I immiedetly grab Juliet and pull her down to hide before they saw us
"Did you bring someone here" one of the guys asked probably to the guy he was beating up
"No I swear" the guy says sounding like he was crying
Then all we heard was the sound of the gun firing
Juliet quickly covered her mouth to avoid gasping so they don't hear her and find us
I was so curious I needed to see who the guys were so I peeped my head up and I saw the tall guy with blood on his face and body
He was wearing a black shirt and black jeans and had a chain around his neck he's so perfect and I looked down to see that he was holding the gun
He put his fingers through his hair...oh god he's so hot I couldn't stop staring at him, he then turns his head to face me I know I should probably run but fuck the way he just stared at me sent shivers down my spine
I then heard Juliet scream and then I felt someone grab me, I couldn't see who it was but I assumed it was the other guy he was with considering I didn't see him
The person that was grabbing me pushed me towards the perfect human I was just staring at, he had blood all over him I looked down at the dead body on the ground fuck is this dude gonna kill me
I look over at Juliet to see her crying because of how scared she was and the guy holding her having one arm around her neck and the other around her waist..yea they're most definitely gonna kill us
I was then pushed agaisnt the wall by the guy and I gulped hard fuck he's hot, I need to stop calling him he's gonna kill me right now
But at least I'll get killed by a hot guy.....right??
"What's your name beautiful?" He asked in a seductive voice
"A-Am-Amelia" I stutter out nervously
"Amelia that's a beautiful name" he says as his hands make their way down to in between my skirt and on my thighs "my names Jaden" he adds while his fingers start to slowly guide their way up my thigh near my core
