Sooo (Chapter 5)

Still Julie's POV

"Sooo, Bye" I said as I turned and ran down the hallway into the storage room. 

"WHAT THE HELL" Rain said as I heard footsteps behind me. I quickly climbed on one of the containers and went into a vent. I closed the door just as the others came in. "Where is she?!" Spencer said as he looked around. I sniggered and went my merry way. Till I stopped.

Wait.... What am I doing? I can't leave them to die.... I bit my lips. Yes you can. You need to survive, you cannot save them all, you will die trying. I flinched back hearing that thought.

I looked at my wrist com and hesitantly brought up the map. I took the path which led me to the Red Queens Chamber. It took a while but I was finally above the Chamber and opened the vent door. I jumped down. 

"Hey Red" I said as I went to sit down on the ground. I suddenly heard screaming from behind the door. SHIT. "Red OPEN THE DOOR" I yelled as I saw the lasers appear. I start banging on the door doing everything I can to open it.

"GET DOWN" I heard James scream but the woman responded too late as the laser cut right through her neck. A thin line of red appeared on her neck before her head slid off.

"I'm afraid I can't do that Jules, it would be in your best interest if you do not look any further." She said as I continued trying to open the door. Oh god, I could have prevented this. I stepped back in horror as I continued to watch knowing I could do nothing to save them.

James saw me. "HELP US!" He yelled at me before the other guy got sliced in half trying to jump over the laser. I turned away and leaned on the left wall before sliding down and hugging my knees. The yelling in the other room continued as I stayed where I was until it was finally over.

As they all come in, I stood up shakily. "WHAT THE FUCK" Spencer yelled seeing me 

"Wait, you were here the whole time," Kaplan said. "YOU COULD HAVE HELPED US" He yelled as he ran towards me. My instincts kicked in and I grabbed his arms and flipped him over.

 "I couldn't do anything!!! The Red Queen wouldn't let me! Do Do you think I wanted to hear your screams? The cries of pain?" I hissed in his ears as I walked to Reds computer. "I-I can't let you guys turn the Red Queen off," I said as Kaplan was setting up his equipment.

"She killed everyone in this facility!" Alice hissed out. I was about to speak until Red spoke "Get out, Get out you can't be here" she said in an urgent voice.

"Designed to look like the Head programmers daughter," Kaplan said ignoring Red as he started to add in the monitor. 

"I wouldn't advise this" Red said as she looked at Kaplan. "Don't listen to anything she says" Kaplan said to Alice.

 "Disabling me will result in loss of primary power." Red continued to say. Even though the others weren't  listening.

"You guys don't understand what will happen if you shut her down"

"They are only trying to deceive us" Kaplan said again glaring at me before he continued his programming.

 "You'll never be able to reach the surface, everything I have done has been for your own good" Red continued to say. 

"Sorry Red, they aren't going to stop," I said

 "It's ok Jules, they're all going to die here. I sent co-ordinates on how to leave to your wrist com get out of here as fast as you can" Red said.

"Thanks Red" I said as I started to climb to the vent again. 

"What are you doing" Alice asked as Kaplan finally turned off the Red Queen. 

"Well listen Alice, I know we were friends but I don't want to die here" I said as I opened the vent.

 "You're not seriously going to listen to her are you?" Spence said. I stopped.

"I know Red, She always does what she says. And I want to leave before I die. If I were you, I would get the others and run. The experiments are escaping now" I say as I quickly made my way into the vent again. Screw this, I have to stay alive for my family I can't help them if they don't listen to me.

As crawled through the vents, I ended up at the Containment storage room. There were a lot of zombies and a lot of shooting. I saw them by the exit trying to enter the codes. Well, I'm not that much of a bitch. I'll help them. I thought as I took out my gun.

I started to shoot at the zombies. "Wait where is that coming from" Alice said. "From Up Top" Rain said as she saw me. "What are you standing around for!?!? GET THE CODES" I yelled as I continued to shoot. I really need another gun.

I looked over and saw the doors open. Shit, I forgot. "DONT GO!!" I yelled as J.D went into the mob of zombies. I couldn't help him. Just like I couldn't help in the laser room. Maybe I'm not supposed to stop these events. As they ran somewhere else, I went back to another way.

I stopped. "Now where is the armoury" I said aloud as I looked at my wrist com. Apparently it was.... Just to the next left then the first door. I continued to crawl and found where to drop off. I took the first door. A zombie jumped out and latched itself to my arm "ARGH" I yell as I took out my knife and stabbed it in the head.

Shit.. SHIT I looked to my wrist. Am I going to turn.. this can't be happening. I Slapped myself. Hold it together! Might as well try to survive as long as possible. I went to the door again and went inside. I closed the door and looked around. No more zombies. Good. 

Now the weapons. I placed the handgun and knife down. So where to now. I took out my wrist com and looked at the map.... Oh right... The chamber. I could just ran there. I looked around and saw a vest. I put it on. It has space for ammo and guns. I took two pistols and put them on my vest. I took a heap of ammo And put it in my pant pockets and vest pockets. I took a knife. Just in case, like before. And I saw a shotgun. Yes.

I took the shot gun and decided to carry it while running. I started running to the chambers and saw Alice and Matt. They were behind me. "Open up" I yelled. As I saw the zombie mob behind Alice and Matt. The door opened and I went in. Alice and Mat went in too but a few heads came in. It took all of us to close the door.
