Marshall ran into the hospital with Paul and Brick running behind him as he rushed towards the elevators. He pressed the button for the floor she was on and impatiently waited for the doors to open. Once they did, he darted out of the elevator and ran to the receptionist's desk.
"Lexi Parsons-Mathers, what room is she in?" He asked.
"Room 409." The receptionist informed him.
He ran through the hallways, searching for her room until he saw Antonio and two policemen conversing with each other outside of Alexis' room.
"What the fuck happened?!" Marshall exclaimed, "Gimme a motherfucking explanation right now!"
"After Mrs. Lexi finished her shopping, we went back to the hotel and she urged me to have some time to myself. I just went to get a bite to eat and I had food for her. I went to bring it up to her room and started hearing these weird noises that sounded like grunting. Something inside of me didn't feel right and I used the second key card to her room. When I opened the door, he was there on...top of her." Antonio struggled to say.
Marshall's blood began to boil and it was official. He wasn't Marshall anymore. Slim Shady had completely made his way through.
All of a sudden, Marshall balled his fist up and punched the wall, causing a hole to form. He began grabbing and kicking the chairs until Brick had to grab ahold of him.
"Nah, man! Let me fucking go!" Marshall yelled.
"Em, calm down!" Paul told him.
"Fuck that, Paul! This motherfucker put his hands on my wife twice and you want me to calm down?! I should put a bullet through his fucking skull! Don't fucking tell me to calm down!"
"I know you want to go off and kill the dude, but think first, man! What good will it do if Lexi wakes up and finds out you got arrested?! That's added stress that she doesn't need, man! Not to mention, you've already been arrested before and that shit is not something you wanna go through again!" Paul scolded him.
He took a minute to think and he was right. He didn't need another court case and he definitely didn't want Lexi waking up from a traumatic experience just to walk into another. He eventually calmed down enough to convince Brick to let him go. When he did, Marshall looked at the policemen.
"I don't give a fuck what you got to do. You better make sure that motherfucker never makes it out. Cause another court case don't mean shit to me. My wife being ok is what matters to me." He fumed.
"Don't worry, Mr. Mathers. We've got him in custody right now and we plan to take the proper action." One of them assured him.
"You better. Handle that shit or I will."
The doctor came out of Alexis' room and wrapped the stethoscope around her neck.
"Mr. Mathers, I'm Dr. LeRae." She introduced herself and shook his hand.
"How is she?" He asked.
"She has a couple of vaginal tears and bruises and she's still unconscious, but she is alive. She might be in a bit of pain when she wakes up, so I added some morphine to her IV. She may be a bit groggy and loopy when she comes to, but she'll make a full recovery." She informed him.
"Thank God." Paul exhaled in relief.
"Can I see her?" Marshall wondered.
"Of course. Go right ahead."
