Mahal, akala ko ba'y tanging ako lamang ang pakamamahalin mo?
Ngunit bakit sa tuwing titingin ako sa'yo, wala na ang ningning sa mga mata mo?
Tuluyan na nga bang ako'y iiwan mo?
Naglakad ako patungo sayo habang tinatahak mo naman ang daan papalayo.
Kumakapit ako kahit ilang beses mo na akong binitiwan at tinutulak papalayo.
Akala ko sa huli ay tayo,
Na mas mananaig ang pagmamahal mo kaysa sa kahit na ano mang tukso.
Pero siguro nga'y hangal ako.
Dahil ako'y basura na lamang sa'yo,
Habang ikaw naman ang mundo ko.
