My Twin Mates

Killan made cat eyes stay with me in the room in case I tried something. I could have sworn I saw cat eyes looking at me with sympathy. After a while of just staring at each other he walked over to me and sat beside me. I was a little scared so I moved away from him and he said, "I'm not going to hurt you".

I just raised an eyebrow at him. And he said, "let's play 20 questions, you ask me what you want to know and I'll ask you what I want to know". "Fine", I huffed out.

"My first question is what does mate mean?", I asked. "I'll just save you all the stress and explain everything", he replied.

"I'm a werewolf in fact all the people that were in the room are werewolves, yes including Kiba and Asher. We believe that the moongodess made us. When we are around the age of sixteen we are able to turn, but if it's an Alpha they turn around fourteen. Alpha's are the leaders of packs they are trained from when they're little to become strong and to be able to protect their pack. Werewolves don't age as humans do we are faster and our growth slows down around age eighteen. I might look like I'm in my early twenties but in actually sixty-seven".

And with that I choked on my spit and managed to get out, "You're old enough to be my grandpa". And he said,

"Good to know. As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted, there are different levels of werewolves. Higest rank is the Alpha, he gives orders and every one obeys. Next is Beta, He is most likely to be the Alpha's best friend or the title runs in the family. He is like the Alpha's advisor. Next is Gamma, He is the head of the army and is in control of anything related to security. There's also the army and normal pack members. The lowest ranking is the Omega, they are the one's that does the cooking and cleaning in the pack. Now, there are rouge's, they are werewolves that are kicked out of their pack for doing something wrong, some run away from their packs and some are the people that manage to escape an ambush to their pack. Sometimes they just stay in the woods away from any packs territory or form their own rouge pack".

I nodded and asked, "So since this is a rouge pack what did you do to become a rouge?". "My pack was under attack so I ran, I lost everything to that attack my family, my mate and my friends. I almost killed myself but I knew my mate would be disappointed if I did that, I was so hurt and alone until I found this rouge pack and they accepted me.

"I'm sorry that happened to you", I said. He just gave a sad laugh and said "It's not your fault that happened to me and I'm sure you're wondering what a mate is?". I nodded. He continued,

"A mate is someone the moongodess destined you to be with, it could be anybody. When your mate is around you, you smell them it's always a nice sent. When you find each other and get to know each other not necessarily falling in love you mate. Your mate bond then becomes stronger and you'll be able to communicate in each other's head's."

"What do you mean by mating?", I asked. "Now, that is for your mates to answer", he said.

"Why are you telling me all this?", I asked. He sighed then said, "I don't stand for what my pack members are doing so I want to help you". "What are they doing?", I asked confused.

"Shhh, keep your voice down I don't want them to hear or else I'm dead. When you went into the woods and saw two wolves fighting, the one that died was the Alpha of the rouge pack. He wanted to attack the pack so he went undercover pretending to be someone else, after a while what he used to hide his sent as a rouge wore off and they figured him out. He made a run for it and Alpha kiba ran after him that's when you found them in the woods".

I choked for the second time and asked "Did you just say Alpha Kiba?". "Yeah, you have a problem with him?", he asked.

"So you are trying to tell me that the yummy looking lip ring man on the T.v earlier named Kiba is the wolf I saved?", I asked. "That's one way to describe him and yes, he is the one".
Wow, just wow I can't believe he saw me in my spongebob top and short shorts, talk about embarrassing. Couldn't I have worn something sexy, argh moongodess I blame this on you.

"As I was saying, Alpha Kiba and Alpha Asher were the two wolves you talked to that night and they are your mates". He said.

I choked for the third time, seriously what's with shocking news today. "Sorry, I misheard I thought you said Alpha Kiba and Asher are my mates", I said.

"That's what I said and I know about it because when the former Alpha was running he mind linked me and told me where he was. when I got there and hid behind a tree and saw all that happened and I followed you home. When I found out where you live I told the Beta of the pack who is now Alpha Killan. He told us to take you from your house and bring you here so that your mates will be forced to come here and sign the treaty. I'm not in support of this. I'm sure your mates won't read it through and Killan put there that they are signing their pack over to him and their position of Alpha". He said.

"Firstly, why in the world of freaking gumballs do I have two mates and why are you helping me?", I asked.
"It's the moongodess decision about how many mates you have and I'm helping you because I know what it feels like not to have a pack and I don't want that to happen to Alpha Kiba and Asher because they are good people and have done nothing wrong. They have a lot of enemies because they are the strongest and largest pack in U.S and they have little packs all over the world too. And also because I like you". He said.

"Ewww, I'm sorry to hurt your feelings but I can't like a grandpa". I said. He laughed and said, "Not in that way stupid. I like you as a friend. If it were other girls in your state right now they'd be whining, crying and pleading for us to let them go". "Awwwn, it's not my fault I'm just so likeable. And you never told me your name", I said.

"Leo", he said. "Cute name but I'd rather stick with cat eyes", I said. He laughed and said, "Now we have to come up with a plan to stop this".

It was morning and leo already explained the plan to me hard but I think I'll pull it off. I heard the door open and Killan walked in with an evil smile on his face and said, "They're here. Leo grab her and put a knife to her neck".

He did just that and we walked down a corridor into a large room and seated on a chair with a table in front of them was Asher and Kiba. Someone kill me now, I probably look like shit and smell like cow dung but boy did they look happy to see me.

Just then Baldy told Leo to give me to curly hair and I realized our plan has failed. Leo just looked at me with sympathy and stood beside us.

They smiled at me and I smiled back. Baldy took a seat in front of them and showed them the papers. Asher read the front page and was about to read the second when baldy spoke, "I'll advice you not to waste your time reading it because the more time you waste the less time your mate will have to live". And with that curly hair pressed the knife to my throat and i felt it cut thorough my skin and blood run down my throat. It hurt a lot and all I could croak out was "please".

Immediately Asher signed all the places baldy pointed to and Kiba signed his too. I had to do something I couldn't just let them loose everything because of me. And with that I elbowed curly hair in the stomach and he dropped the knife, I quickly picked it up and threw it at baldy's hand itching towards the papers. The knife went through his hand and into the table. Everyone was in shock then I yelled, "You dumbasses just signed your pack over to him".

And with that all hell broke loose. Blonde ran and held a gun to my head and Kiba removed the knife and held it at baldy's throat and said, "Drop all your weapons or your Alpha dies".

I just wanted to say something about rouges. They're normally not handsome and strong, but they're actually mentally sick and disgusting smelling wolves. That's the reason why Sam could put up a little bit of a fight because they're not as strong as normal werewolves because they've probably lost everything and have nothing else to live for. But these wolves are an exception and are a little bit strong and healthy lookingbecause they formed a pack and have a family in a way.
