Chapter 10

"Um, maybe," I replied with a sheepish grin.

"What the hell happened to you why are you wrapped up in bandage?" He growled.

"I-I hit my ribs on one of the shelves in the library and didn't want to bother you." I lied through my teeth hoping my eyes were not doing that werid twitching thing.

He gave me a flat look,"I'm seriously not in the mood for your lies, who did this to you?"

"I told you i hit my ri-"

"Godammit Sam quit lying. Kiba ki-"

I sat up quickly ignoring the pain in my ribs and putting my hand over his mouth. I knew if Kiba found out he'd blow the matter out of proportion or even kill her.

How wrong was I.

I sighed lieing back on the bed thinking I successfully stopped him, only to hear heavy footsteps coming towards the room. "How did he hear?" I groaned.

"You know for someone as pretty as  you really are dumb. Our hearing abilities are really good I could have whispered and he would have heard and two there is this thing called a mind link pack members have".

I scowled, I'm not dumb.

"Don't forget he also called us pretty." Maya said.

Yeah, he did. Wait what do you mean us. He only complimente-  The door was pushed open by a furious Kiba, I rolled my eyes. And let the drama begin.

"You better start talking now before I force the words out of you." He growled. Jake looking like a lost puppy at the door and blushing when he looked at my chest. I ignored him, not being able to take any more drama I spoke.

I narrated what happened not leaving any part out then I remembered my current state of clothing I blushed furiously taking my shirt and covering my chest. No wonder Jake was blushing.

"So are you gonna kill her or what?" I asked.

I wasn't one to judge a person I just met but with Lucy it was different. After the time I broke her nose I was going to apologize the next time I saw her but after what happened today she really is a bitch. And why did they have to date a psycho like her.

"We can't kill her." Kiba said between clenched teeth.

"Her father is the oldest council member and I don't think he will take a liking to us killing his daughter. And before you ask the council is like a court in human terms-" I scoffed what does he mean by human terms, he ignored me then continued "it is where the oldest wearewolves alive are they make decisions concerning the thousands of packs on the world. Lucy's father just has to be the oldest one and if his only daughter and child should die there is definitely going to be war." Asher concluded.

"Where is this council located at?" I asked.

"Italy," Jake answered.

"Then what the hell is she doing here?" I yelled.

"Her father sent her here to our pack to look for her mate."

"Then why in the world of gumballs did you date her?"

"We didn't date, we were just seeing each other."

"Which one of you two idiots was seeing her?" I asked putting air coats around seeing her.

The two looked at each other then looked at the floor. I understood. "Both of you, just get out I don't want to see your faces." I yelled.

"Sam it was in the past, even before we met you so why are you getting so worked up?" Kiba asked.

I sighed then closed my eyes, "Just leave, please."

They left shutting the door behind them quietly. I felt the first tear roll down my cheek. Why the fuck am I crying? All that happened was before you so why are you crying?

I keep on saying I don't like them so what's this feeling? Jealousy? It couldn't be. I'm sure it's because I kept myself for someone I didn't even know and they go about with other girls.

'You couldn't possibly want them to stay celibate especially if they weren't even sure they were ever going to meet you. And nobody forced you to be celibate it was your choice,' my inner voice snapped at me.

After a few hours of crying I fell into a deep slumber.

"Damn, she's so fucking pretty", I heard an unfamiliar voice say.

I fluttered my eyes open and saw a girl around 5'7, with blue eyes and red hair. She was pretty to say the least. And beside her was Cat eyes and Jake both grinning from ear to ear.

I was so happy to see cat eyes. "This is Zara my sister," Jake said smiling like a lunatic.

I gasped,"I never knew you had a sister, she's really pretty."

"I know." Zara replied. "I can't wait to go shopping with you, you have so much to learn."

"Zara here is going to be a sort of guide for you in the pack since she's a trusted member and obviously my sister. So y'all can go ahead with your girly ass shit me and Leo will leave you to it now," Jake said blowing a kiss at me I rolled my eyes then sent them out.

I heard Zara gasp dramatically, "Umm is everything okay?" I asked. "Damn that bitch got you good. See what she did to your neck oh my God she is sooo going to get it and everyone asks me why I hate this bitch."

I have decided Zara is going to be my best friend forever. "I thought I was the only one who hated her," I said groaning in pain. Yeah, she got me real good even talking was a challenge.

"Are you okay? Should I get Kiba? Asher?" She mumbled panic showing on her face. "I'm fine it's just the broken ribs that are fucking with me," I groaned out.

"Sorry, you should probably rest or something I'll go get you your pain meds," she said. I mumbled a quick thank you as she walked out.

I have a good feeling about her.
