chapter 10

ENGAGEMENT DAY,

Y/n went to the main hall of the city where the engagement will take place. She went to the dressing room and was getting ready.

It was almost the time for jk and y/n to come to the ball room. So jk went to y/n's dressing room in order to pick her to accompany him.
                 

Jk's POV.

I went inside that dressing room and my eyes was wide open when I saw her. I don't like her but I won't lie, she was looking fab. I can't describe that look with words. I mean if she wasn't related to him then I would've fallen for her but how can I fall for her? No no I can't.

Y/n's POV.

I was talking to Anne. Actually she was talking to me. I was silent and suddenly jungkook came in the room. He was looking so good. He is really handsome. But his handsome face is useless because of his evil heart.

Jk- ……(coughs)

Anne- " Looks like bro-in-law is here. So I will leave both of you alone."

Y/n- " N-no. You don't have to let's go together."

Jk- " thanks. We will be there in a minute."

Y/n - " hey..an…" (anne leaves)

Jk- " Are you scared of me?"

Y/n - " no, I am not…. Let's go."

Jk- " y-yeah " (jk wanted to say something else but he couldn't say that)

Jk gave y/n his left arm leaving y/n confused.

Jk- " Hold my arm. We are a couple. Remember? "

Y/n - " umm. Okay. "

Y/n holds jk's arm and goes to the ball room downstairs. When they were coming down of the stairs they looked like a couple made in heaven.

There were a lot of people. Y/n saw her father with Mr.jeon on the stage.

They went to the stage and the engagement party officially started with Mr.jeon's announcement.

Mr.jeon- " y/n and jungkook. It's time for you to exchange the rings."

Both of them nodded. Then they exchanged the rings.

Then everyone was busy with their chit chat. Y/n personally doesn't like this kind of parties because almost all people of this parties are fake. They really doesn't care about you. So she was happy that nobody came to talk to her. Jk was talking with them. He also introduced some business partners of him to her.

She was bored. She didn't find Anne anywhere. She was avoiding jass after that incident of the restaurant. Whenever she sees him now ,she feels embarrassed to herself that she liked him but he always treated her a his sis. It's really embarrassing.

She went to the balcony to have some fresh air. Suddenly someone came and put a hand on her shoulder. She turned back and saw jackson.

Jas- " hey...I got you! You can't hide that from me."

Y/n was shocked by him saying that.

Y/n - " w-what? I can't hide from you???" (she shutters with a confused look)

Jas- " I guess I got the reason why you have been avoiding me all these while."

Y/n - "so what's the reason tell me??" ( nervous)

Jas- " you are gonna be the Mrs.jeon soon so you are avoiding common people like me. "

Y/n - " i- what??? Hahahaha. You have a great IQ. I wonder how you managed to get in the final year of graduation?"
