Ch. 20

 I land on the rogue back and immediately rip off its ear. The rogue howl in pain as I pin it down, digging my claws into its chest, killing it. Looking at Marisol I nod my head in the direction of the pack house. Understanding what I meant she turns around to run, as best as she could, to the pack house. Suddenly more wolves came out of the forest surrounding us.   

"Well if it isn't the little gem" oh no. No no no no. Alpha Mark stepped out of the woods with more rogues behind him. This can't be happening. I thought he was dead. "awww surprise to see me" smiling he walk closer to me "I've been waiting for this moment"

 "H-how are you still alive?"

"That's not important. What is important is that you are coming with me"

"Sorry but I'm going to have to decline your offer" Where the fuck is Jordan?

Jordan

"The alpha from the river pack has finally agreed to the term-" I was in a meeting when Ethan rushes inside out of breath. "What's wrong?" walking towards him he looks frighten. "Bad men got mom and Marisol" that's all he had to say as I rush out of the pack house with some of my men following. Notifying the rest of my warriors to find the girls I tried to find there scent. 

 "Alpha we found them on the west side surrounded by rogues and a man" one of my warriors reported. Rushing over there I break through the tree line stopping dead in my tracks. Marisol was on the ground with two wolves next to her, while others were spread out. Jayla was surrounded the most looking at a man. Getting closer I see it's alpha Mark. 

 "Well look who decided to join us." he says smiling at me "Don't mind me I'm just collecting what's mine" 

 "I am not yours" Jayla growls

 "Whatever you say love"

 "Leave now" growling I take a step forward but is cut off by three rogues. "ah ah ah I wouldn't do that if I were you. One wrong move and my friends here will kill that pretty little mate of yours"

Jayla

Looking at my surrounding I could tell that we were completely surrounded. "Now little gem I think it's time for us to go" looking at the situation I know if I don't go a fight will start and to top it off Marisol and the pup will die. Sighing I gave. 

 "Fine" I whisper

"I'm sorry doll what was that?"

"Fine! I'll go with you" Smiling he grab my hand and lead me towards the forest. "Mommy no!" my heart stops. No no no no. Turning around I watch Ethan turns into his wolf and run to me, but didn't make it that far as a rogue slam him into the ground causing all hell to break loose. Warriors come out of their hiding place and attack the rogues. seeing this as my chance I claw Mark side causing him to let me go  and quickly change into wolf looking for Ethan. Finding him backing away from the rogue who held him as Jordan rip him apart I rush over to him. 

 Almost to him I'm stopped by a wolf that's not a rogue. He brought his pack to. "Mark pack is here also" notifying Jordan I move out of the way just in time as the wolf try to claw me. Not wasting time I tackle him to the ground and aim for the neck. With one quick jerk I snap his neck. 

 Quickly looking over to the spot where Ethan was but is no longer I frantically look around for him. "Ethan baby where are you?" I mind link him. "Mom help!" killing enemies as I look for Ethan I finally found him in the mouth of a rogue. No! Running over I tackle the wolf and bite off its ear causing it to drop Ethan as it howls in pain. Quickly recovering the wolf jumps on top of me and bite into my right shoulder. Howling in pain I dug feet into its belly and kick it off of me. Not waiting for it to get up I jump on it ripping its throat out. 

 Going to Ethan to make sure he's okay I pick him up in my mouth and run into the forest. Once far away and in a good hiding spot I put him down. "Stay here and don't move"

 "But mom-"

 "Stay here and don't move!"  I growled causing him to whimper and put his head down. Sighing I lick his face and rest my forehead on his "I love you so much Ethan" "I love you too mommy" With that I turn and run back to the fight. "AAAAHHH!" turning my head Marisol was being attack by a wolf. Running to save her I was hit by the side knocking the breath out of me. 

"Where do you think you're going little gem?" Fucking Mark was standing a few feet in front of me. Man this guy is annoying. "Now we can do this the easy way or the hard way" growling I got up and bare my teeth at him. "Hard way it is then" shifting into his wolf we ran to each other and start fighting. I know I'm not going to win but I have to fight. Clawing and biting each other I almost had him until he claw my face hitting my eye and rip out a chunk of my side. Howling I lay down and shift back as Mark stay on top of me baring his teeth. Looking over to my right I see Marisol in the same position as I am screaming for help. 

 Growling Jordan rushes over in between both Marisol and me looking at both of us. I can see the conflict and the struggle he's going through in his head and already know what's about to happen. What he's about to do. Who he's abut to choose. "Jordan" turning his head in my direction his wolf wines "Protect Ethan" I say as I watch his wolf fight for control to come and save me, his true mate, but it was too late. Mark sinks his teeth in me and everything goes black.
