Marlene plummeted to the ground, out of her apartment window, 18 stories high. Marc took a big gulp. He was nervous, extremely nervous. This was probably the closest he's been to losing Alraune.
He sweated like it was 100°C as she got closer and closer to the ground and possible, very possible death. She screamed extremely loud, as she closed her eyes.
He equipped his grappling hook, firing it up at a third floor window, as he was lifted into the air. He wrapped the grappling hook around his waist, so both hands were now free.
He gritted his teeth in fear as she landed in his arms. It was a hard landing, causing them to fall a few feet, but he caught back onto the building. Marlene looked up at Marc, smiling as her pupils dilated. However, the relief was cut short as the grapple snapped and they fell to the ground.
Marc landed on his back and Marlene landed on him. They only fell about 8-10 metres however, so they were both fine.
"I sure owe you one!" Marlene chuckled, breathing quite heavily as she stood.
"I think you owe me more than one." Marc joked, as he got another grapple and shot it up at Marlenes window. "But right now, I got work to do."
The grapple pulled him up into the room, as he leapt in, but his brother was nowhere to be seen. He bolted back over to the window, and Marlene was gone.
He wasn't sure if she'd just left herself or was forced to, but he assumed the worst. "Why is she ALWAYS getting herself into trouble?"
He spotted an old beaten van driving off. It looked sketchy, but he wasn't certain. But he had to chase it. If there was a chance this was his brother, he had to be stopped. For good.

He was out of grappling hooks, so he threw it to the floor and jumped out the window, landing on a building just across the alley.
He pursued the van, which made a sharp right, making Marc have to leap across building again.
He eventually caught up with and leapt onto the roof of the van. He lay on his stomach to peer in the window, spotting it was not Randall.
"Shit, sorry! Wrong guy." He said, sliding off the van and landing next to a bin. He had no idea of how to find them.
He got to his feet slowly, kicking at a bin multiple times. But he was not going to give up so easily.

04:47Marlene slowly awoke, when she realised she didn't know where she was. She was in a small room, tied to a chair with her mouth taped shut.
There was a single window behind her and a single door in front of her. He had a massive bruise on her knee and her forehead was bleeding quite badly.
