Charli damelio x Quinton Griggs

How do I say this?

Charlis POV:
I woke up with a sad feeling in my stomach. Today I was going to tell Quinton his girlfriend was cheating on him. What if he hates me? No, why would he hate me? Ugh, I'm overthinking this.
Quinton knows I'm staying in the sway house because chase cheated on me but he doesn't know the details.
Dixie is going to come over later today to see Giff cuz they have been getting really close.
I told her it was a bad idea because he was her ex's friend, but she really likes him, and Taylor is cool with. But still, it's going to be weird.

I was sitting on the couch fidgeting, waiting for Quinton to get home. I don't think I've ever been so nervous before. It makes me sad that Quinton and I were best friends for so long but we kinda lost touch and eventually forgot about each other. I miss him as a friend and feel bad for shutting him out. But this is how I can make it right. I can tell him the truth and then we can hopefully rebuild our friendship.

Even tho I would never admit it to anyone, I had the biggest crush on Quinton last year. I never told him cuz he was my friend and It would be awkward is he didn't like me back, plus, I had major confidence issues and still kinda do now.
Time skip
Everyone was hanging in the living room and I was making a TikTok with mads when Quinton walked through the door, 3 hours late.
"QUINTON!" Josh yelled. Everyone ran over and hugged him said hi. But I stayed in the back and waited my turn.
"What took you so long?" Asked Bryce.
"Ya, your three hours late." Said Anthony.
"Sorry my plan got delayed." Quinton noticed me standing in the back.
"Charli!" He ran over and hugged me.
I hugged him back and laughed. "Hi to you too."
Quinton told us about his trip and how he got to see his friends that he hadn't seen in years. Then everyone decided to go get chipotle but I said, "Hey Quinton do you think maybe you could stay behind with me? I need to talk to you." He looked at me confused and said, "Ya sure."
Jaden walked up to before leaving and whispered in my ear, "Good luck." I nodded and he left.
Quinton smiled at me. "So, what's up?" We walked outside and stood on the balcony.
"So uh-I...uh." I couldn't find the words.
"You okay char?" He asked me slightly amused.
I nodded and the took a deep breath. "Ok, so you know how chase cheated on me?" He nodded. "Well...uh, you see I didn't tell you who he cheated on me with." Quinton nodded and continued to look at me confused.
Then I got really nervous and started rambling, "So uh, we were friends and then lost and touch and stuff but I still care about you because your still my friend so I think it's my duty as a friend to tell that...umm."
Quinton raised an eyebrow and I sighed.
"The person chase cheated on me with was Cynthia."
Quinton eyes went wide and his jaw dropped.
"They have be sleeping together the past few months."
"Months?!" Quinton asked in disbelief. Him and Cynthia had first gotten together around the same time chase and I did.
I nodded. And he sighed and sat down on the ground. He looked sad and tired.
"I'm sorry Quinn." I said looking at the ground.
He patted the ground beside him and I sat.
"It's not your fault." He let out a little laugh. "I guess we're both kinda dumb for not seeing this." I laughed with him and said, "Ya, I was thinking he same thing."
"Thank you for telling me charli." He hugged me and got up.
"Where are you going?" I asked, even tho I knew he was going to brake up with Cynthia.
"I gotta go end my relationship." He sighed and shook his head.
"What a wast of time." He said before leaving.

Quinton POV:
When Charli told me I wasn't that surprised that she cheated. I was more surprised it was with chase and that it had been going on for so long.

I felt bad for leaving Charli alone outside, but I had to go brake up with Cynthia.
