Quintons POV:
I was outside thinking about how things would probably never happen with Charli so I should probably just give up, when I heard yelling coming from inside. It was just me and Charli. Who was that? Wait a minute, is that... Chase?
I ran inside and up the stairs right as Charli started yelling. I couldn't believe she was actually telling chase how she feels. She told me about how he used her and how he probably never even liked her, but I never thought she would tell him how she felt.

I watched as Chase left in shock. I stared at Charli with pride. She was so brave to tell him off after what he did to her.
When she started to fall  my instincts kicked in and I caught her right before she hit the floor. She cried in my shoulder for what felt like hours. I hated seeing her like this, so broken. I 'shhhed' her and kissed the top of her head.
Eventually she calmed down and sniffled.
"I feel so stupid." Her voice was quiet, "He never cared.... Never."
I picked up her head in my hands. "Charli you are the most beautiful, amazing, kind person I know. And if chase doesn't see how wonderful you are, that's his loss." I stared into her eyes and she stared back.
"He's a dick. He doesn't deserve your tears." I kissed her tear stained cheeks, and I could feel her smiling. I pulled away and looked at her face. How was she so beautiful? How was I so lucky to be with her right now? For a moment I thought about kissing her, but realized it was a bad idea because she was upset.
She threw her hands around my neck and I hugged her back.
"Thank you for being so amazing." She whispered in my ear, sending chills down my back.
I hugged her tighter. "I'll always be here for you Char." I smiled against her neck, "Always here."
We sat like that for a long time. Hugging on the floor in the middle of the room.
