Grandma Jongcheveevat awakened from her long thought by a knock on her desk. She lifted up her face to see Khun Pirapat was standing in there with a tray of chamomile tea and some biscuit to complement the tea with.
Grandma massaged her temple as she sighed.
"Do you think this will work, Pirapat?"
Khun Pirapat smiled reassuringly as he put the tray down on the desk. "You were overthinking about everything, Khun Jee"
"But the fortune-teller was right. She was right on a lot of things. And the dark surroundings the Jongcheveevat will linger if we don't do something. I'm worried about Mew. How if what the fortu-"
"Khun Jee khrub...", Khun Pirapat cut her before she could continue her words, "Fortune-teller can only tell of what may have become, but we are the one who will decide what will become of ourselves."
"The creaking tires, the smoke, that boy's cry... You can't imagine how I could still hear those sounds even in my dream."
Khun Pirapat looked at grandma Jongcheveevat pitifully as he sighed, "Now Khun Jee, drink the tea while it's hot and take a good rest. You need to take good care of your health. I believe Mew is a good boy and what surrounds him will naturally be good."
Grandma was quiet for a moment before she sighed in frustration. "I hope you're right, Pirapat. I hope the fortune-teller was wrong. I also really hope that boy really would be the start and the end of every nightmare happened to the Jongcheveevat family."

The guy, with a black suit and white shirt that was unbuttoned to the chest showing some scars and the dragon tattoo on the chest, was driving recklessly with very loud music played on the player. His head swayed to the music while his other hand was holding a cigarette.
"Fresh air and adrenaline rush are two best things in the world!", he shouted and laughed as hard as he could.
Not long after, his mobile rang. He pressed the answer button as it automatically connected to the audio system inside his car. Yes, he's that rich, don't ask!
"Yo!", he answered fast.
"I have booked the Resort in Khao Yai per your request. You may come anytime. They will be waiting for you."
"The best and the most expensive in the area?"
"I believed so..."
"Good!"
"But Mew, don't mind me to ask why did you need to book the hotel all of a sudden? It's not like you're going to Khao Yai all of a sudden?"
"I'm here already."
"You're in Khao Yai now?"
"Yep!"
"Why? Why of a sudden? I thought we're going to have a meeting tomorrow morning?"
"Cancel everything! I need my vacation! I want to relax."
"But, wh-"
"You talked too much, Godt! Don't call me again! Bye!"
He dropped the call suddenly without waiting for the other party to say anything. What a jerk! He swayed back his head to the music as he inhaled his cigarette deeply and smirked.
"Mew Suppasit Jongcheveevat! You need to learn how to spend your wealth and have fun! But don't worry too much... I always take care of you, don't I, brother?"
