Chapter 19: Secrets

Hey guys,

I hope you guys are doing fine. Last week was a wow for me. A little story from me, I will not say this as a near-death experience, no, but this is the first time in my life I've experienced this. So, last Saturday was my parent's wedding anniversary, that's why me, my partner, and my parents decided to have dinner outside, a steak restaurant inside a shopping mall to be precised.

The food was good, everything was fine until suddenly we heard shoutings from the tenant besides the restaurant where we ate. Nobody was panicking, but then we saw people were walking away in a rush and smokes started to be seen from the restaurant, then I started to panic. I found out that there was a fire happening in the restaurant beside our place. All of the guests inside the restaurant were rushing outside as we also followed. Since it was a shopping mall, you could see the chaos clearer as some shops were rushing to close and went home. Securities were started to go back and forth with bigger and bigger fire extinguishers and some officers were leading us to go out through any available door.

Long story short, finally we managed to go out of the building, drive our car, and stuck in the parking ticket post since everybody was driving out at the same time. Good thing, we finally went out safely. I smiled whenever I think about this because... I don't know.. it was scary and funny at the same time because I swear to God, this was the first time in my life this kind of thing happened to me.

By the next day, the incident was on the news, even there were some videos about it as I posted below.

So yeah, just wanna say, I'm lucky that I'm in a good condition and no issue whatsoever. So guys, be thankful every day that you were still able to enjoy your life. Life is beautiful... if you can appreciate it.

So just take a deep breath, smile, and enjoy the chapter.

Win was driving around the city center with nowhere to go. Initially, he wanted to ask Gulf to grab dinner together, but who thought that Gulf will hang up his call due to an emergency. So, he decided to just grab a simple dinner and drive around the city. But anyhow... what kind of emergency Gulf was talking about, Win wonders.

His eyes wandered around when suddenly he caught a glimpse of the guy he saw in the coffee shop previously, the guy who bought him his drink because he forgot his wallet, the guy named Bright. Win smiled as he slowed down his car and started to pull over.

Bright was standing in front of a big commercial building, looking up to the highest floor. His eyes stick to something but Win couldn't make sure what was it. Win shook his head as he smiled before he opened his window.

"Hey...", Win greeted him.

The guy was not aware that Win was calling him previously until Win stopped right beside him and waved.

"Hey, Bright...", Win greeted again as he smiled towards him.

The guy turned his face towards him to analyze who he was before he finally smiled, "Oh, hi... you're that guy...", he squinted his eyes as he tried to remember his name, "The guy in the coffee shop?"
