Emily's POV
(A few weeks later)
"Ryan, stop acting like a plane. You have Emily on your back!" Mark shouted. I chuckled a little, then almost fell off of Ryan.
"I GOT HER!" Brad shouted, running off with me, bridal style.
"RUN FORREST RUN!" I shouted. Then both Brad and I started laughing. Forrest Gump was the only non-horror movie I ever saw and enjoyed.
"Hey Emily, can we talk?" Will asked me. Brad stopped running and put me down. He then put his hands up in the air, then pointed to Mark.
"Mark did it!" He shouted.
"What!?!" Mark shouted/asked.
"Guys, it's fine. I'll be back." I said and followed Will into the barn. "What's up?" I asked.
"Don't you think that you and your friends are a little too close?" He asked.
"Well, they are my friends." I pointed out.
"I know, but don't you think that you're all a little too close than normal?" He asked.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked. Will didn't say anything. "Are you jealous?" I asked, sounding a bit annoyed.
"No, I'm not jealous." He said, not looking at me.
"Will, look at me and say it. Tell me to my face, that you're not jealous." I said. Will looked at me but didn't say anything. "Unbelievable," I said. I turned around and started to walk out.
"Emily wait." He said.
"What do you mean 'wait'?" I snapped. I turned around to face Will. "I find it hard to believe you right now because, when we first started dating, I was nervous to leave you alone with Sarah, or Chloe, or Zoe, because I had a feeling that you would leave me. But I trusted you. And now, my friends, my childhood friends, who I haven't seen since I left, now that they're here, you don't trust me. Explain that." I snapped. Will didn't say anything. I turned around and walked out.
"Emily, wait. Please." He pleaded. I stopped and turned around. I took off the locket Will gave me and shoved it in his hands. "Emily..." Will said.
"If you can't trust me to hang out with my friends, then we're done," I said and walked out. I felt tears coming to my eyes. I ran to the pasture, climbed over the first fence, then the other one, and ran out some distance and sat down. I covered my face with my hands and cried.
"Woah, Woah, Woah." I heard Max said.
"Emily, who did this?" I hear Sam asked. I pointed to the barn and kept crying.
"You guys go find out, I'll stay here." I hear Ryan say. I then hear footsteps running, and felt arms wrapped around me. I knew it was Ryan because he then pulled me into him. Like he did on the night of the fire.
"I can't believe him," I said between sobs.
"Shh. It's ok." Ryan said, rubbing my side.
"He didn't trust me," I said.
"Who didn't trust you?" He asked.
"Will," I said. I ended up crying harder.
"I'm sorry." He said. I heard neighing, and then galloping. "Guardian's here," Ryan said. I look over and see Dusty, lowering his head to me. I got out of Ryan's grip and hugged Dusty.
"I hate him," I said. I was indicating to Will, and Dusty must've known that because he rested his head on my shoulder. I climbed onto Dusty, and nudge him into a gallop. He obeyed, and we got out of here. I don't want to come back. I don't want to see him again.
