Dusty's POV
"We can have the horses tied up in the ring," Emily said.
"And foods and drinks in the barn," Ben added.
"Games in the meadow on the hill," Brad said.
"And the stage will be there later," Tony said. All four of them turned and face the rest of the people.
"I'm ok with it," Bailey said. Emily nodded and took out a clipboard.
"So Tony, Larissa, and Selena came up with these arrangements. We'll have Sarah, Alma, and Molly doing the concessions. Chloe and Zoe, you guys will have an artsy type booth. So you'll guys do henna, fake tattoos, face painting, and stuff like that. Jasmine, Larissa, and Selena, you guys are doing a ring toss. Brad, Ryan, and Sam you guys have a dunk tank. Bailey, Ben, and Max, you guys will do a lasso. John, Mark, and Tony, you guys have the balloon pop." Emily said. I watch Jasmine make a face.
"What about you and Will?" She asked. Girl, who cares?
"Will and I are going to give the rides," Emily replied, playing with the clipboard. Jasmine walked away and mounted on Jámbre. Everyone else cleared out until it was just Emily, Larissa, myself and Luna.
"Don't mind her," Larissa said.
"I didn't like her from the start," I said to Luna.
"Dusty, that's mean." She said. I rolled my eyes.
"Why did you have to pair me with Will though?" Emily asked. Larissa hid a grin and looked Emily straight in the eyes.
"I have my reasons. Now can we please go on the trail ride? You promise to show me where you found Freedom." Larissa said.
"Yeah, follow me," Emily said, as she went to mount me. I led the way to the meadow, and we just galloped across the meadow.
"So this is the place?" Larissa asked.
"I don't remember the exact place, but this was the meadow. We call it Dusty's meadow because this is where he left and came back." Emily said. She rubbed my neck when she mentioned me leaving and returning.
"Well, at least he came back," Larissa said. The girl has a point.
"Why did you leave?" Luna asked.
"Miss being free, and a devil called Snowflake," I replied. I shuddered at the thought of Snowflake.
"We better get going. Should probably help with making the booth." Larissa said. And with that, Luna and I galloped back towards Horseland.
