The young Gord was always looking for a breakthrough in his arcane magic. He constantly trained himself to have a better understanding of magic. One day, he stumbled across a book on forbidden arcane magic. he began to study it, despite the disapproval of everyone else, as he was attracted to the 'Pure Arcane Power' mentioned in the book. He gradually mastered this ancient sorcery which boosted his arcane magic with a mysterious power. Gord used this power however he pleased, even the most basic spell Mystic Favour would unleash terrible destructive power.

Chapter 3: Arcane Magic
Gord wanted more and more out of this 'Pure Arcane Power' and kept on using ancient sorcery to push his arcane magic to its limit. But he was only human, so there was a limit to how much arcane magic his body could handle. Rush and impatient, he was corrupted by his own greed and desires. While using Mystic Gush, the ancient sorcery and arcana magic within his body clashed with each other. He couldn't stop himself from casting this spell and injured those who came to help or stop him. Gord was unable to accept that he had already reached his limit and, as a result, he mutated into a half-red, half-green monster that was the embodiment of pure arcane magic.
Use Mystic Gush and slay at least two enemy heroes within its duration. Complete it 2 times.
Chapter 4: Professor of the Mystics
This incident caused upheaval in the Academy of Magic, no one was able to stop that mutated Gord and it looked as if he would be devoured by his own power. Luckily, the grand sorcerer Elward came to the rescue in time. Under his guidance, Gord came to his senses again. When he felt that he had let the Academy of Magic down and began to blame himself, Elward encouraged him to become a tutor of Arcane Magic at the academy. After a long internal struggle, Gord decided to teach the students of the academy in the hope that he could pass down his unfinished studies to others. That is how the strictest Professor of the Academy of Magic came to be.
