The Next Weekend
La Reina and Kevin are at his little sister Neveah's birthday party.
Kevin: You okay baby?
La Reina: Yes! I'm fine. Why do you keep asking me that? Damn Kevin!
Kevin: See, it's shit like that that's making me worry. You been acting weird and distant toward me since like Monday night.
La Reina: It's nothing..Can you just leave me alone?
Kevin is about to say something when his little sister runs up to them.
Nevaeh: Kev! La Reina! We are about to cut the cake and then open presents. Come on! (She grabs their hands and leads them to where the cake is)
La Reina: Actually Nevaeh I have to go. Kevin is staying though. I hope you like my present okay niña?
Nevaeh: Awww okay La Reina. I'll see you later. (Hugs La Reina and then runs off to where her cake is)
La Reina: (turns around to leave but Kevin grabs her hand)
Kevin: We're going to talk about this later La Reina.
La Reina: Whatever man... (snatches her hand away and leaves)
BOY's POV
Carmen and Ray Ray are in his room.
Carmen: You want to go do something? I'm so bored.
Ray Ray: If being with me makes you bored then you can leave.
Carmen: I didn't mean it like that. What the hell is wrong with you? You've been weird all week. If anything I should be the one acting weird. You do remember what your ex told me last weekend don't you?
Ray: (stares at her angrily for a moment) I think you should go.
Carmen: Why? I'm just saying. I'm thought we were cool. We talked about everything on Saturday night and then all of a sudden on Monday night you start acting weird as fuck and distant towards me. This isn't normal. What the hell is going on Rayon?
Ray: Don't worry about it. You can let yourself out. (walks out of the room)
Carmen: Ray!! (Follows him out of the room) Where are you going?
Ray: I'm staying here. You're leaving. I don't need a bitch that's gonna be nagging me all the time Carmen.
Carmen: (takes a step back) So now I'm just your bitch?
Ray: (shrugs)
Carmen: Whatever. Tú eres un hombre estúpido. A stupid stupid man. (Storms out of the apartment and slams the door shut behind her)
Prince: (comes to where Ray is standing by the front door) What was that all about?
Ray: Man, I'm fucked up.
Prince: Why?
Ray: I love Carmen. I swear I do, but I've been treating her like complete shit all week.
Prince: Forreal?
Ray: Yeah. I been hella shady.
Prince: You trying to make her leave you or something?
Ray: Bro...that's a good idea.
Prince: What?
Ray: I'm gonna make her break up with me.
