Hey All! So It's been a little over a week (I think) since I posted chapter one! I hope you all like it! Enjoy all!
A review from Chapter 1:
Chat Noir/ Adrien's POV.
I could see my dad was calculating the events that had just transpired. He seemed to be searching the room, no doubt for me. He always wanted to know where I was. He looked relieved when he didn't see me anywhere. I decided to cut into his thoughts. "Alright we can use this chair," I said pointing to an unused desk chair. I carefully took the wheels off so that he couldn't take it anywhere. Then M'lady gently set him down with his arms wrapped around the back of the chair. Beeb beeb! Her miraculous warned us that she had three minutes left. "I'll go get some rope. Be back in a flash!"
Now on with Chapter 2!
Still Chat Noir/ Adrien's POV.
"Where are you going to find rope so quickly?" she asked.
"Saw some with my pawsome vision in the foyer," I joked, but continued more seriously, "Looked like it was meant for us."
Ladybug/ Marinette's POV.
Chat was back in a flash. How had he noticed that? It must have been in the dark.
I held Mr. Agreste firmly while Chat secured his wrist tightly, but gently. Then he moved to the feet, and finally wove some rope around our prisoner's chest and arms, as well as the chair. I nodded when he had finished. He turned on the mode on the security system used for attacks and extra security for the mansion. I threw the handcuffs up in the air, and yelled, "Miraculous Ladybug!" We then left the room without a word, as I could see the determination slowly melting from Chat's face. As we closed the door and locked it, he sank to the floor.
I sat down next to him cuddling him, as we let our transformations go. Tikki was about to speak when I held up a finger to her and Plagg. They nodded and settled in my hair. I focused on Adrien, who was now crying silently. I just held him a bit tighter. "It's ok to cry." I whispered. "I would too if I were you. I'm here for you if you just want to cry or if you want to talk." He nodded silently and cuddled closer.
We just sat there, him silently sobbing. Agh! This made me so mad. He shouldn't have to go through this! No one should! It just wasn't right. I wanted to walk right back in that room and tell that man what he had done was not acceptable. Let him know my mind. Tell him how much he had hurt the only family he had living! Adrien must have felt the anger inside me rising because he suddenly said, "I'm mad at him too. How could he mess with fate like that! I know he misses Mom, just like I do. But when fate chooses otherwise, he will just have to live with that! If fate decided to take you, I would never do -deep breath- do what he did! I would even give up mine and your miraculous to Master Fu so that I wouldn't even be tempted! Of course I'd miss you terribly, but I know that's not what you would want. I would remember our memories and do what I could to protect the things and people we love, even without my miraculous." He then broke down sobbing again. He was right. I did have the right to be mad. Neither of us would abuse our powers like that, no matter what happened. But there was one thing I needed to add. We also had the duty to forgive.
"You're right. We can be mad. And I know that both of us would do the right thing should anything happen to one of us. However, I must say this. I know you might not be ready just yet, but you need to forgive him." He looked up sharply at me, so I continued. "And it'll be something you will have to do every day. And that doesn't mean you will let him get away with this by any means. It just means that you will have to show him any kindness possible while still letting the judgment of our jobs lie on him. Not that fate says it's entirely our job to enact judgment. But if we don't, he'll find some other way to hurt people again to get what he wants." He nodded again, still sobbing silently.
"You're right," he croaked out.
We sat there for a while. Saying nothing. Suddenly Plagg piped up. "I'm so sorry, kid. If I had known I would have told Master Fu. He could have prepared you for it. Or found someone else to stand in for a while."
Adrien looked fondly at his kwami. It wasn't often that he didn't ask about cheese and talked seriously. "Thanks, Plagg," he said. He sat there for a while longer, seemingly calculating. I had just calmed my nerves down enough that I was ready to talk about what to do with his dad, when he piped up.
"Everyone will be wondering where Ladybug and Chat Noir are. Not to mention how worried my bodyguard will be when I don't come out of fencing practice. And Alya will be looking for you. We've got to decide what to do with him."
I smiled. "Well then, what do you think is fitting?"
He looked surprised that I was leaving the decision up to him, but then he nodded. "I think there's only one way to deal with this. We have to turn him over to the police." I was happy that was his choice. "I agree. But what are we to do about your bodyguard? Alya is used to me not answering her, but your bodyguard?"
Chat Noir/ Adrien's POV.
She was right. We had to do something about my bodyguard. "The only way I can think of fixing this is calling the police ASAP and then after they have him handled, huffing my way back to fencing as quickly as I can. I'll just have to be careful that I get back before they send for me. They'll want to interrogate the whole household."
"I don't like it, but it's the only way," she agreed. "Alright then. You ready?" I smiled for my answer.
"Tikki, Spots On!"
"Plagg, Claws Out!"
Hope you all liked it! I hope it was sweet enough for you! (I personally love the sweet moments!) Please comment if you want another chapter! TTYL! :)
