Though we hadn't even started to see around Kerala, I was already in love with this place. The place we were living was simply beautiful. The calm lake, the warm sand  and the cool breeze, it was all so pleasant.

Everyone were still fast asleep. Ofcourse after yesterday's Chaos, we all needed some rest. But I simply couldn't sleep for long. So I quickly got freshen up and now sat on the porch on the backside of the cabin with a cup of coffee enjoying the pleasant atmosphere.

It's actually good to be out of the same routine life of mine. I have just been too and fro from work and home like for ever. It's so calm and refreshing here. I don't know where we were going today, it was all up to Ray. I always think how would it had been now if we never broke apart? What if all those things that broke our bond never happened? Well I would never know that. Am just glad that we at least got to meet again.

"Hey.."

I was startled and spilt some coffee on the porch.

"Argh! Sorry to scare you there."

Gaurav smiled and sat beside me. It took a little while for me to calm my poor heart whom everyone seems to just scare.

"You really haven't changed much." He chuckled looking at me as I shrugged.

"If you scare me like that how else should I react?" I show my tongue like a five year old.

"Why are you up so early? Ray looked as if she has been murdered or something."  I placed the mug aside.

" I am not a person who could sleep for long. And talking about Ray, you know that she loves to sleep a lot. If it was in her hand she would go hibernating and never come back."

"True" he smiled looking at me and his right cheek dunk in forming a pretty dimple.

We fell silent and looked ahead at the still lake. We were lost in our own thought. I was biting my lower lip contemplating myself whether to talk about that day now or not.

"So, " he began bringing me back from my confused ass mind.

"How are you? How's life?" He brings his knee near to his chest and places his head on it upon his hands, turning towards me.

"Life's.... boring wouldn't be the word I want to explain it as but it has just been like a routine for me now. Same old thing every damn day."

"You tell me. How's your life?" I ask after a moment.

"I can say quite opposite of yours. It's what I always wished to live. Am a graphic designer in a well reputed company, I get to travel a lot and I now also do have a boyfriend."

I smile listening to him. This guy truly deserves all the happiness in the world. I was really happy that he could get all he wanted.

"Damn. Am so happy for you " I playfully hit his shoulder.

"Thanks."

And again silence engulfed us. I looked at my fingers, conflicting should I ask him or not. After what looked as hours I gathered all the courage in me and took a breath in before speaking.

"Gaurav..."

"Hmph!" He blankly looked at me.

"Are you ... umm... Are you... st--still mad at me?" I ran my fingers through my hair and looked at him attentively watching his every move.

"For what?" He furrowed his eyes in confusion.

"For you know what, what happened during college." I was so damn nervous.
