🦋 story 5 🦋

Hi guys ! I'm so sorry for not uploading last week but I've been very busy. We still have 3 weeks of school and it's just exams and tests now so that's why I'll be probably still busy this week too ❣️ also I hope everyone is staying safe according to the things happening in states ❤️

It was snowing with big and puffy snowflakes. The snow was sparkling under the multiple Christmas decorations that lighted up the street. Typical late December day. This day has been especially cold and Hermione hadn't left the house in a while. She was reading by the fireplace and a big smile appeared on her face when she recognised Draco's footsteps as he entered in the room. She turned around slightly and opened her arms for a hug.

"Hermione"

Draco whispered as he approached to the couch and gave her a small peck on the forehead.

"Hey" she replied

"I've missed you..." she looked into Draco's grey eyes that got a warmer shade from the reflected fire sparkles.

Hermione let a little lough out:

  "I mean... we missed you" she said as she caressed her barely showing belly with one of her hands.

It was still unusual for both to accept the fact that it wasn't only the two of them longer. There was a little someone Hermione carried under her heart. Draco looked down at her bump that had grown a lot past few weeks and now was finally showing. He sat down next to Hermione and smiled as he gently touched her belly.

"It's still too early Draco, I haven't felt-" Hermione gasped and looked up at Draco with excitement.

"Did you feel that too?" Draco asked with his eyes wide open.

They were both surprised to feel a soft movement for the first time. At that moment Hermione's heart was fulled with love and happiness as they caught such a precious moment together. And that's when the reality hit her. They were having a baby. She was going to be a mom and Draco was going to be a dad.

"Do you think it's a boy or a girl ?" Draco asked Hermione as he cuddled next to hear.

"Well, when we last visited Narcissa she said that my belly looks pretty much as hers when she was pregnant with you..." Hermione said rising an eyebrow.

Draco laughed and pulled Hermione for a gentle kiss.

"Any boy names you like ?" Hermione asked Draco a bit insecure.
"I personally always liked Hyperion." She said.

"I really like Scorpius. It means love and hope from the stars." he paused for a second

"It reminds me of what you gave me Hermione." she sighed and closed her eyes letting some tears fall down her rosy cheeks.

"Draco... I love it" she quick whipped her cheeks.
"Sorry, its just the hormones, you know I don't get emotional that easy" they both laughed and Draco lay his head on Hermione's lap.

He kissed her belly and started to talk with the baby as she was playing with his snow white locks. It was going to be their best Christmas ever.
