I heard somebody knocking on my door.
"W-wah?"
I let my mind process what was happening for a while first, I was in my new apartment, I'd just graduated from Davidson College, and SOMEONE IS KNOCKING AT MY DOOR AT EIGHT IN THE MORNING.
I got out of bed and opened the door, half-asleep.
My eyesight was blurry from my ginger hair hanging in front of eyes, but I could just make out a girl with completely dyed white hair.
I honestly would've thought she was an old woman if she hadn't said something.
She sounded around my age, but also very girly.
She was dressed in a pale blue denim mini-skirt and matching pale blue crop top.
There was WAY too much cleavage showing.
I shuddered.
She apologized for supposedly 'screaming'.
"I'm so sorry for screaming, I hadn't adjusted yet!" she said,
"Well, I didn't hear your scream, and it didn't wake me up. BUT YOUR KNOCKING DID, SO PAY ME $50 AND WE'LL BE EVEN." I retorted.
"Umm..." she thought for a second.
Then she fished out $50 out of her wallet and handed it to me.
"Mkay, go away now," I said as I slid the 50 dollars in my drawer.
"W-what?"
"I said 'go away', you paid me back, I forgave you, we're done."
"O-okay"
Then she left.
Only then did I notice her sky blue eyes.
Eh, whatever.
I went back to bed and snoozed for the rest of the day.
Heh, yeah, that was the sign, Leo.
