STS02
Bag
I reached for the books at the topmost part of the bookshelf. Why does it have to be him? Whatever. I shook my head and ignored all my rants. Wala na akong magawa.
There are a lot of things that are worth to be thought of and obviously this isn't one of them.
Muntik na akong ngumawa nang hindi ko maabot ang kinakailangan kong mga libro. Ba't ang taas ng nilagyan nito? I mean I'm not that short, I got a height of 5'4. I saw someone reaching it and handing it down to me after.
"You could've asked for my help, you know?" Rancho said as he chuckled a bit. Gosh, he really knows how to piss me off and he's surely proud with that 6'1 height. Hmpf.
"Yeah right. Thanks." I said and left the Physics section.
I checked again if there are other needed books and headed back to our table. The library seemed to be more quiet right now unlike the usual school days, probably because most of the students already went home since it's still the first day of school. Unta tanan half day.
"Savi, is this correct?" Rancho asked as he showed me his draft for our output in Physics. I read it and nodded before giving it back to him.
Ma'am Prima Passioma surely knows how to stress out her students. Our first output for her subject is related to our first lesson for midterms. Great. She was also our Statistics and Probabilities teacher sa second sem last school year at grabe, halos every meeting ay mayroong seatwork, if not, quiz. At hindi lang 'yan, nakaka-antok din ang kanyang discussion but she doesn't mind that basta makakasagot lang daw kami sa kanyang given activities.
Diara and the other three already went home after our last subject of the day, I think the whole class does. Though I don't know if they're done planning for their outputs. Bahala sila. Pagkatapos ko kasing kumain ng lunch kanina, I messaged Rancho via messenger that we'll start making our output and meet at the university library.
"We need to finish this on the weekend. I hate cramming," I said without looking at him, focusing on my own draft. "Okay?" First day na first day, binigyan agad kami ng gagawin. Buti nalang at hindi ako sanay mag-cram. We're going to make a three-page research about the lesson that Ma'am Passioma gave us.
"Sure. Your place or mine?" Ha? I eyed at him suspiciously and went back to my paper. "Chill. I mean—like, where will we finish it?" He chuckled as he said that. Really, Rancho?
"You decide. Basta matapos natin ito ng walang istorbo."
"Oh, okay. Sa bahay nalang dahil wala sina mom at dad this weekend." I saw him smiling while facing his paper as I glanced at him a bit. Okay? I just nodded and we continued writing.
Doing the first part didn't take us long since we assigned tasks. We also agreed to sum up our drafts once we're done.
At last, we stopped after spending one and a half hour in the library. We just left the used books on the table and I took notes of the essential information of the books that I'm planning to buy for our output.
Rancho hurriedly opened the door and let me pass first. Still the same, I thought. After stepping out, I faced him.
"Thank you for the cooperation. See you sa weekend. I'll just text you kapag papunta na ako sa inyo." I said while giving him a small smile. "I believe 'yun pa rin ang address niyo, right?"
He nodded. His playful aura suddenly went lost and I noticed that he wanted to say something but he's afraid to tell it wrongly. I raised my left eyebrow at him, indicating him to tell me.
