Hi everyone! The name's (Y/N) (L/N), and my life is pretty crazy if you might ask me. Since Kindergarten I always was good at everything without knowing it. The other kids with the same age as I was were really impressed and wanted to befriend me to learn more. That actually give me the opportunity to be popular.
My mother is Japanese while my father is American. I first hung out in America till the end of middle school, and then my father got a job in Japan, which made me move from an American high school to a Japanese high school. My mother signed me in for an all-girls high school named Nijigasaki High School.
And this is where everything will start...
----
You got off the train to your destination that is ofcourse: Nijigasaki High School. You were nervous because you were the only foreigner and you really didn't know much about the japanese culture. You took a deep breath upon arriving at the front door to calm yourself down untill you were ready to head inside.
"You must be (Y/N) (L/N), am I right?" The student council president asked you. You were at the student council office alone with the student council president to talk about the school.
"I can't understand her at all." You thought in mind as you started to panic silently without her noticing.
"Is there something wrong?" She asked as she noticed you panicing silently.
"I still don't know what she's saying at all." You started to panic more.
"A-ah... My mistake. Sorry for n-not an-answering." You spoke fluently japanese to her, even though you still couldn't understand.
"I see. Well, I'm glad that you can still talk." She sighed in relief. "So you're (Y/N) (L/N), right?" She asked once more.
You nodded. "Yup, That's me." You pointed towards yourself.
"It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Nana Nakagawa. The student council president of this school." She introduced herself.
"It's nice meeting you too, Nakagawa-san." You bow.
"Hey, Setsu-" Another girl burst into the student council office. She noticed you and quickly cut off. "I mean... Hey, Nana-chan. I see you have a visitor in your office." She quickly changed.
Nana nodded. "This is (Y/N) (L/N)." She introduced me for her.
"Ai Miyashita. Nice to meet you (L/N)-san." She introduced herself as Ai.
"Oh, Ai-chan. There's a request you need to do from me. Is that alright?" Nana asked Ai.
"Sure thing! What is it?" Ai asked.
"Would you mind showing (L/N)-san around school?" Nana requested.
"Sure. AI would love to!" Ai answered.
"Did she just made a bad pun with her name in it?" You thought in mind as you sweatdropped.
"That's good to hear." Nana smiled, ignoring the bad pun while Ai laughed at it.
And thus you followed Ai behind as she showed you everything around school. The guide around school actually took quite a while before the sun started to set off. As Ai finally finished her guide around school the two of you were outside the school building, as it was starting to close.
"Thank you for showing me around, Miyashita-san." You thanked her with a bow.
"No problem!" Ai smiled.
Then another girl approached the two of you. She was wearing a board to cover her face. You wondered why...
"Ah, Rinari!" Ai said happily as she noticed the girl.
"Oh, great timing by the way! I want you to meet someone new attending our school." Ai continued.
The girl looked over to me with a board showing a smiling expression. "Nice to meet you. My name is Rina Tennoji." She introduced.
"Nice to meet you too, Tennoji-san. My name is (Y/N) (L/N). I hope you guys treat me well in school." You awkwardly laughed as you introduced yourself.
"Can I ask you something, Tennoji-san?" You asked Rina.
"Sure, go ahead."
"Why are you wearing a board actually?" You questioned.
Rina was silent, unable to answer your question. But Ai chimed in to help her. "Oh, this? This is a Rina-chan board I made for her just for fun!" Ai smiled.
"For... fun, you say?" You tilted your head in confusion.
"Oh, look at the time. The three of us should head home now." Ai said. "It was nice meeting you, (L/N)-san!" She waved as her and Rina left the scene.
You waved back towards the two of them, showing them a blank expression of yours.
"They didn't even answer my question correctly..."
----
You finally arrived home at peace, with your mother greeting you. You greeted her back and told her you'll be upstairs if she needed you for something.
You headed upstairs and entered your bedroom. You dropped yourself on bed as you looked up at the ceiling above you where you were facing at.
"Tennoji-san looks cute... Maybe without her board... she... E-eh!? What am I even saying right now? I shouldn't say something like this in my head." You shook your head as your face became redder.
"My heart is throbbing crazy when I think about Tennoji-san. What is this... feeling..."
"Is this what people are calling... love?"
----
"Sorry, Ai-chan. I couldn't answer her question... Rina-chan board: "Sad"..." Rina told her as her board expressed itself in a sad one.
"Don't be sorry, Rinari." Ai comforted her. "I know you didn't want to answer because the secret of your expressiveness. But luckily I was here, eh?" She smiled.
Rina's board gave the expression back to a happy one. "Yeah." She nodded. "Thank you, Ai-chan."
"Do you think... maybe (L/N)-san and I could be friends?" Rina asked Ai.
Ai placed her index and thumb on her chin and thought about it for a while. She then looked back at Rina and smiled. "Of course the two of you can be friends!" She answered.
