Ariel's POV

"Say trophy!"

We were taking group pictures. I was in the middle with Seemal helping him hold up the five foot trophy.

We took the last picture and I lowered it to the floor. It was at least forty pounds.

I walked back over to Eric. A huge smile on his face. I leaned against him and closed my eyes. Being happy is tiring.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and Eric nudged me off of him.

Standing on front of me was a man wearing gray dress pants, a black blazer, and rectangle glasses. He was tall, thin, and balding.

"Hello, my name is William Jameson from Parks & Jameson talent agency." He said in a deep voice.

"I already received a registration form-" I started.

"Not this one." He handed me a yellow slip of paper that had almost the same things on it, except at the top it said "Elite".

"This is a bigger opportunity than the first one we gave to you. We do hope you accept."

And then he walked away. He didn't give the paper to anyone else.

"This is great!" Eric exclaimed.

I turned and looked at him.

His smile disappeared "What?"

"I don't want it." I whispered.

"Why not?" He asked skeptically.

"I can't leave. It's not what I'm meant to do. I can feel it."

He hugged me.

"Then I agree." He whispered.

We didn't realize that a small crowd of my team formed around us.

"Ariel?" I heard Aly ask.

I turned around. She looked bewildered at me and Eric hugging.

"What the....... you........I.......huh?" She said skeptically gesturing to me and Eric.

"I'll explain it to you later." I chuckled.

***

Our plane landed back in LA three hours later. Eric came with us. The entire plane ride, he was bombarded with fans and parents asking for autographs and pictures.

I got off the plane and kissed the ground. I was home.

The car ride home was cramped with an extra person with us.

When we finally reached our house, I ran inside and went upstairs to flop on my bed.

I fell immediately to sleep. When I woke up, Eric was rubbing my arm.

"Dinner is ready." He whispered.

I slept through the whole day.

I stretched and he kissed me on the forehead.

We walked downstairs together, hand in hand.

We all sat down for dinner and started eating. It was good to have real food in my stomach.

We were almost halfway through the meal when the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it." I said.

I opened the door and was shocked to see Vanessa standing there, with a shark like smile on her face.

"Um, can I help you?" I asked.

"Can we talk for a moment?" She said.

I stepped outside and closed the door.
