"Do it, honey."

My dad just said yes to going on tour with Eric.

"Thank you, Daddy!!"

I hugged him.

"Thank you, sir." Eric said.

I hugged him too.

"Our plane leaves tomorrow."

"So sudden?" Dad asks.

"I'm already delayed." Eric answered.

"Well then you better start packing." My dad smiled.

"Here's the last of them." Aly heaved a suitcase into the back of Eric's dad's car.

"I'm going to miss you!" Fallon hugged me.

"Me too."

A tear dripped down my cheek.

This was really hard. Harder than anything I have ever done before. No dad to watch over me, no sisters to advise me, no Fallon to comfort me.

"I will miss yelling at you!" Abigail was crying. I've never seen her cry.

"Oh, Abigail, you can always yell over Skype."

She laughed and hugged me.

"It's not like I'm never going to see you again." I said sadly.

All of my sisters bid me farewell.

My dad almost forgot to say goodbye he was so caught up talking to Eric's dad. They had a lot in common. Both widowers, surfing guys, and they went to the same college.

My dad hugged me and whispered in my ear, "You don't have to go."

"It's too late now." I smiled.

He kissed me on the forehead.

I was almost in the car when a truck pulled into our driveway.

A boy with wavy blond hair stuck his head out the window.

"See ya later Little Red!"

I ran over to the window and hugged August.

"Thank you." I whispered in his ear.

Without him, I wouldn't be standing here with Eric right now.

He pulled out and yelled "Cowabunga!"

I laughed.

Eric and I got in the car. His dad started to pull away. We stuck our heads out of the sunroof and waved goodbye until we couldn't see them anymore.

We lowered ourselves back into the car and kissed.

This was my happy ending.
