We were already walking in the woods for some hours. After we hopped off the train Finn led us into some woods nearby. Sleeping is also something I don't recommend, I still had the back pain when we finally got off. As I looked over to Finn, he had his eyes fixated on a point before him, looking pretty much in his thoughts. After I told him about me and Daniel, he had that same exact look. But when I asked him if it sounded stupid, if I shouldn't have told him or if this triggered something bad, he just smiled at me and said that it was cool, that I had nothing to fear and that I did nothing wrong. Still, in the back of my mind, I questioned his honesty. No, I won't ask him, he wouldn't tell me anyway. I also told Daniel that Finn now knew nearly everything, besides his power of course, and that he should be careful and not blow it up. He asked, in the most childish and brattish tone, why he couldn't tell them about the powers, they would accept him. It's not that I don't trust Finn, but we are talking about some magic power that could be pretty dangerous. Maybe they would accept it, but what if they don't and kick us out? I can't risk losing these people, not now, they are the only people we can stay with. Finn convinced me on the train to stay for the job, he said it made much money when you worked hard and he knew that Daniel and I would. He also would put in a good word for us. He smiled with such... Desperation, I couldn't say no. Just look into someone's eyes and see that he is trying his best, giving all he has, and refuse him. ,,So, Sean..." it suddenly came from Finn's direction. I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at him, raising an eyebrow a tiny bit. He smiled at me with a warm smile, making something twitch inside of me. His blue eyes gave me a...strange look, almost like admiration or something. He walked with such confidence that you just had to listen and follow. But it wasn't like a forced thing, you wanted to because he just seemed like a leader, because you knew he would protect you when you needed him. And still, you knew he was human and could also be hurt, but that was also something that made him more reachable, something that made you admire him because you knew he faced more shit than most people and stood there as confident as he is. He gave you hope, also a bit confidence maybe? ,,Eh, Sean? Were you listening?" I could hear him asked, so I snapped out of my admiration. My cheeks heated up and I focused on him, now seeing reality again. Goddammit, this was getting worse. I really have to stop...whatever this was! ,,N-No. I didn't listen, sorry Finn." ,,I asked if you liked the woods. You are an artist, right? Did you ever drew the woods at night, the stars?" His eyes moved up to the high trees, staying there for a second. My eyes followed him, looking at the roof of leaves. ,,I drew the stars many times, but never the woods from...so deep inside." ,,The city stars or the real once?" ,,The...real once?". His eyes darted back to me, I saw the sudden movement and looked back at him, trying not to fall over. ,,The city stars are...just a glimpse of the real once. In the city are so many lights, they outshine the stars. Here, in the woods, you can actually see their full beauty. Gonna show them to you, promise." He gave me a wink and put a hand on my shoulder, squeezing it softly. I gave a smile back and looked to the ground, feeling his hand slowly slip off my shoulder.

,,This is our camp?" I asked and put my bag down, looking around the clearing. It was pretty well made up, an improvised kitchen, power source, a shower, toilet, water tank, lights, a campfire. ,,Jep, we had this campsite for some time now. Kinda awesome, right?" Cass asked me with a smile while nudging my shoulder, walking past me to a big, large tree and putting her stuff down. ,,Try and don't destroy everything on the first night." Hannah said next to me and put down a tent near my bag, looking up at me again. Finn said they would give us their tent, but did he really have to send Hannah? ,,We won't." Daniel said next to me and took it, looking at Hannah with a smile. ,,You would help me put it up, right?" ,,Daniel, I don't-" ,,Sure can do buddy." Hannah interrupted me and walked past me, followed by Daniel. I turned around to look at them, a bit in disbelieve. Is Hannah really just not nice to me? ,,Hannah was always nice to children. Mostly to those where she knew that their mother fucked up too." Finn said next to me and looked at Hannah with a soft smile. It was a genuine smile, a friendly one. I turned to him and scratched my neck. ,, Hannah's Mom...fucked up?" He turned his head to me and smiled now at me, shrugging his shoulders. ,,You gotta ask her, but I bet she tells you. Come on, you can check the generator and the water tank. Just turn the lights on and off and check for open spots on the tanks." With that, he gave me another smile and pointed at the tank and the generator. He turned around and walked to his tent, which he already had build up. Funny what Finn could do in such a short time.
