Few days passed we finished all our work and submitted the report, got the approval for the project without any changes and everyone was in a happy mood including my dad so I decided and somehow after mustering up my courage and asked my dad can I move out? at the breakfast table. I shouldn't have done that I regretted the instant when I felt a sticky liquid pouring down my face well it was a glass of juice thrown by my father with the stares I received like I had asked for a sex change operation! I know it was not going to be easy and yet I was unprepared!
Why do you want to move out he asked and all the others stared me like they were waiting for me to say Yes for a marriage proposal. My grandmother was being over dramatic while beating her chest with her fists and saying " Ab yehi din dekhna baaki reh gaya tha, chod do yeh ghar sab chale jao jidhar jana hai sabko aur yeh puchne ki formality q kar rahe ho abhi tak toh tumne koi ghar bhi dhundh liya hoga hi. Kal hi nikal jao iss ghar se" (" This is what was left for me to see, leave the house everyone and go wherever you all want to go and why are you asking permission for a formality, by now you definitely have found a place to stay. Just move out tomorrow"). While she was yelling my dad tried to calm her down. But she was not ready to listen to anyone. And I knew exactly why she was being so hyper, well she had lost her son while he left the place without her will just like me forcibly and met with an accident. From then my father had always listened to her except for the marriage thing I thought and rolled my eyes. At least I was taking permission for moving out I thought and thank god I didn't spoke my thoughts out loud.
Dad took her upstairs to calm her down.
