Pick Up Lines

JJ - "Hey?" He harshly whispered, pulling you down behind the bush. You were confused, to say the least. You started looking around to see what you were hiding from but you turned back to him, seeing him smirk.

"Do you know if any police are around?"

"Shit JJ," you groaned, seeing a cop car ironically pass. "What did you do now," you start planning a route for an escape. You couldn't let him get arrested again, his dad might kill him. You couldn't let him get hurt anymore by the person who was supposed to love him.

"I'm here to steal your heart," he clicked his tongue causing you to groan.

"You're so cliche, I love it."

Pope - "I need to give you four quarters," Pope casually said. You remembered the bet that you both made earlier and like always, he lost. This time you bet money who could catch the most fish and you beat him.

"You can keep that chump change, I don't need it." You teased, being a Kook had its perks. You usually didn't flaunt your wealth nor did you try to be rude, it was just the truth. He ignored your statement, digging in his pocket to hand you the 4 quarters.

"If I had to give 4 quarters to the 4 prettiest girls in the world, you'd have a dollar."

"But I have a dollar-" you sat there puzzled, was he calling you cute?

"Do the math."

John B - "You look nice," John B complimented you, he was such a flirt it was kind of cute, to say the least. "Where ya coming from?"

"Oh you know, church, my grandmother forced me to go with her," you sighed, a bit embarrassed that he had to see you in this long-sleeved, white dressed. You felt like it didn't go very well with you but in reality, it hugged all of your curves in the right places.

"Are you religious?" He gave you a cheeky smile causing you to blush profusely, everything he said was could make you smile.

"A little bit," you answered, trying to see where he was going with this conversation.

"Because you're the answer to all my prayers."

You couldn't help but just laugh in his face, "what's funny?"

"I knew she wouldn't like the pick-up line man, next time ask about the one about monkeys," JJ popped his lips, walking away from the two.

Rafe - "Can I follow you home?"

"For god damn fucks Rafe," you jumped, "stop scaring me, you literally pop up out of nowhere." You noticed he seemed like he had something to say, he never came up to you unannounced, this was something new.

"Why'd you ask to follow me home?" You raised an eyebrow, your house was just a couple of streets down from his.

"Cause my parents always told me to follow my dreams," he gave you this big smile causing you to give him one back.

"Come on then," you winked, drawing him in. You were ready for a long night with Rafe.

Topper - "Uh," you heard him cough making you back at least 6 feet away, "you look beautiful tonight."

"Thanks?" You raised an eyebrow, wondering why he'd want to talk to you? A pogue, he'd always pick on you or tease you but it was nothing compared to Pope and JJ. It still hurt to hear him talk about you, you didn't even know him.

"Thanks, Topper," you quietly said, attempting to walk away.

"Wait, I know why you're here," he said making you a bit confused. You were only here because of Kiara inviting you. "You must be one hell of a thief."

"I would never steal from anyone, not even you," you scoffed, getting ready to walk away at any moment.

"You just stole my heart from across the room," you heard him smile causing you to stop in your tracks.

And that night, you couldn't help but smile due to his romantic antics.
