Hermione sniffed and opened her eyes to open the window, except it wasn't an owl that was tapping on the window. its was Draco waiting for her to wake up on his broom hovering outside her window. Hermione rolled her eyes and opened up the window, "what do you think you're doing?" she asked leaning out. Draco laughed, "I'm going to take you for a ride!" Hermione rolled her eyes, "not today, at least not right now." and closed the window. Draco groaned and flew around to their deck.

"puhleasee!" he whined jumping off his broom and following her into the kitchen, "why not?" Hermione snorted and started to make herself breakfast, "because how do I know that you're not going to just drop me off of your broom!" Draco sat down on one of the chairs, "cause I don't think that you think I would do that." Hermione put her eggs on a plate and started to eat them

Hermione took one of the books off of the counter and ignored dracos pleas. once she finished she walked upstairs still enduring dracos pleas. she got dressed and brushed her teeth and got Draco to help her brush her hair, and soon gave in. "FINE." Draco looked at her taken-a-back, "wait you're going to come on my broom!" she nodded and grabbed her bag from on the couch and started towards the door before realizing that Draco wasn't with her. "Malfoy!" Hermione heard him drop something.

"We have to go! hurry up!" Draco came running down the stairs, "alright." she sighed and opened the portrait door, "I just remembered that we have that new class starting today!" Draco looked down at her, "you sound happy about that?" Hermione shrugged and started down to arithmancy and Draco went to transfiguration.

after classes

Draco sat down beside Hermione and she looked up from her book, "what do you think we'll have to do in the extra 'class' today?" Hermione asked. Draco shrugged, "I dunno, I just hope it's not too terrible.." Hermione nodded and looked back to her book, "whatcha reading?" Draco asked turning the book over, "Hogwarts a history." she said taking it back, "and if you don't mind please don't take my book from me while I'm reading okay? alright," Draco rolled his eyes and started to scoop food onto one of their plates from the room, "where are you going?" Hermione asked looking up from her book again.

Draco put a chicken leg onto the plate, "I have a bunch of homework to do so I'm going to go back to the house, want to come with?" Hermione folded her page corner over and stood up, "sure! I can probably help with it.." Draco laughed and he and Hermione started to walk out of the great hall. they got to the portrait door and the centaur smiled, "password?" "Malfoy" Draco laughed as the portrait door swung open, "what?" Hermione asked.

Draco smiled down at her and strode forwards to sit on the couch, "it's just that soon you're going to have my last name!" Hermione snorted, "what if I decide to keep my last name?" Draco raised his eyebrows, "like your going to do that.." blush spread across her cheeks as he sat down at their coffee table and spotted the chicken leg on the plate Draco was holding, "could i hev that?" she siad sheepishly smiling. draco handed the leg to her and she devoured it within seconds.

"wow you were really hungery.." she nodded, "yeah i didn't have much to eat, i was reading..." she looked down at his papers. so what are we doing first?" draco sighed, "well i have a hard time in trasfiguration, so maybe we could start there?" hermione smiled, "thats one of my best subjects!" draco rolled his eyes, "all of your subjects are your best granger.." he drawled. blush started to creep along her cheeks and she got up and sat down besdei him.

"alright so whats your homework?" draco shrugged, "its 'how to transfigure birds from straight air'" hermione sighed, we learnt that last year malfoy, why didn't yo-" she looked down at her hands, "oh, um, sorry..." draco frowned, "it's fine, but lets get on with this spell!" hermione shrugged, " alright the spell is 'Avis'and you point your wand to where ever you want the to go!" draco nodded and stood up, "avis!" he pointed his wand to over the stairs and after a couple trys he managed to get a few feathers.

feeling discouraged hermione tried to cheer him up, "malfoy its a very hard spell and i suspect most people don't get it their first try..." that didn't seem to cheet him up but hermione glanced at her watch and sprang up, "malfoy we have to get to to class!" draco jumped up with her, "of shoot its going to start soon! we have to go right now!" hermione grabbed her bag and wand and they started to sprint down the halls.
