Marinette woke up, feeling her bare skin against the silk sheets as Adrien spooned her. His hand wrapped around her stomach, keeping her close to him as his chin was placed against her neck in a fit of kisses.

She giggled a little, suddenly growing concerned as she felt a sick feeling in her stomach. She gagged, running to the bathroom and throwing up. She wrapped her bathrobe around her body to find Adrien running to the scene in only his boxers.

"Marinette, are you okay?" She flushed the toilet and nodded, feeling embarrassed. He smiled before helping her off the floor and pulling her into his arms, "You can take a bath while I make you breakfast." He suggested.

Marinette smiled lovingly at her husband, "It's okay Adrien. You have work and I still have a few designs. I'll be alright I promise." He sighed and groaned like a child at the idea of work which made her giggle.

"Finnne..." He pouted and she laughed, brushing her teeth and taking a mint. Before he left work she kissed him and started on her design. She had a slightly odd feeling in her stomach.

The thought of her being pregnant crossed her mind and she hesitated. Could it be..? No way.

Marinette found herself at a nearby pharmacy, placing pregnancy tests at the counter and the cashier looked at her. "Who's the lucky man?" She asked and Marinette slid a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

"My husband." She said simply with a small smile at the thought of him. The cashier smiled a little before scanning the item and placing it in the bag. "It's on me." She said. Marinette grinned, thanking her before leaving the store-

Her eyes widened as she looked at the result, sitting on the toilet seat with her hand clamped over her mouth. It was... Positive. Just like all the other tests that were thrown in the trash.

She didn't not want a baby. She just wasn't really ready and she wanted to plan for one. She would probably be so embarrassed when she told Adrien and she needed to tell him sooner or later.

What if he didn't want to have a baby? It was a lot of responsibility... And whether she liked it or not, babies were quite expensive. But she couldn't just abort it. She didn't want to either.

It wasn't the babies fault she had gotten herself pregnant, and knowing Adrien he'd probably really understanding. She held her stomach, taking a deep breath. Adrien would be home in two hours or so and she needed to make dinner.

She went to the store for some groceries. And suddenly she was craving things she never liked before. She had always hated pickles, and now she suddenly just had a craving for some pickles.

She decided to make soup for dinner. She bought the ingredients and even gave into her craving. Pickles. She also wanted to munch on ice for particularly no reason... She just felt like it.

She bit into a pickle as she began dicing the vegetables and adding them to the soup. She usually hated the sourness but at this moment it hit the spot. She heard the door open and her eyes widened.

How was she just going to tell him that she was pregnant?!

Adrien kissed her cheek as he placed his keys on the counter. "Hi my love." He greeted her, Marinette blushed as he hugged her from behind, and she suddenly felt all the tension and worry cloud away from her as he held her in his arms. She felt complete.

"Adrien, I have something important to tell you after dinner." She said, he shrugged. "Tell me now." She gulped and nervously played with her fingers. "Well... I-i um... I finished my designs, I have the weekend off." She said.

He smiled, "That's great. Maybe we can go for a swim or something." Marinette nodded, "Dinner is almost ready. You can go change." Adrien nodded and headed upstairs. That was the most awkward conversation she had with him since they first got married!

It was true she was off for the weekend, but that obviously wasn't the important thing she had to tell him. She inwardly groaned.

Adrien came back stairs and Marinette already had dinner on the table. Adrien suddenly scooped her up and spun her around in his arms. He kissed her lips, Marinette laughed a little as he made her feel like she was light as a feather.

He set her back down and they sat on the table. "I was thinking we could go to the movies together for the weekend. There's this awesome new movie that's being released and the trailer looks good."

Marinette grinned, popcorn... Buttery poporn... It sounded amazing. "Yeah, that sounds awesome." They talked about a few more things and Marinette just didn't know how to bring it up again.

She didn't even know if she could tell him.

She looked at herself in the mirror after she had took a shower. She cupped her small belly, she didn't look any different... Yet. What if Adrien didn't like her when she was pregnant, or she gained a lot of weight?

She sighed and Adrien walked into the bathroom, "Marinette..." He looked at the mirror and blushed, wrapping his arms around her from behind. He left pecks at her neck, picking her up and setting her down on the bed.

"You don't seem okay. You're starting to worry me." Marinette smiled at him, bringing his lips to hers and kissing her husband, she took his hands in hers. "I didn't tell you what was really important to me, I did finally finish all my designs but..."

He narrowed his eyebrows, "But..."

She sighed and looked straight at him. She trusted him with everything she had, and he was worried about her. Shouldn't that have showed her how much he really cares about her? She gulped.

"Adrien... I'm pregnant."
