Adrien felt his heart ache for his wife as he heard her scream in pain, her hand holding his with a tight grip. Beads of sweat forming at the top of her forehead and heavy breaths escaping her plump lips. He narrowed his eyebrows, "You can do this Marinette." He encouraged.
His wife pushed, she pushed and pushed as hard as she could. Her eyes squeezed shut and she was exhausted. "Just one last push!" The nurse said, Adrien could feel his heart hammer in his chest, as he thought about seeing his little Emilie's face. Marinette took a deep breath, her eyes filled with tears before she let out a muffled scream and pushed once more.
Suddenly everything stopped.
There was a cry, and not of pain, Marinette leaned her head back against the hospital bed. Regaining her breath and letting go of his hand. Adrien nearly felt his heart drop once the nurse handed him his baby, and he got to hold Emma for the first time.
He blocked out all the little crys that escaped her little lips, she calmed down once she heard her father's voice. "Hi my little Emilie..." He said in astonishment, she was a miracle. One of the best things that had ever happened to him besides Marinette.
He knew that he would protect them and love them with everything he had for the rest of his life. "Marinette, here." He said, Marinette finally opened her eyes, Adrien offered her a loving smile as he passed her their daughter. A tear ran down her cheek as she saw Emma's little face, her dark hair and little button nose.
And just like that, everything was worth it.

Adrien looked at his wife with an admiring smile, Emma had fallen asleep and Marinette was facing him. "Adrien... Stop looking at me like that it's making me nervous..." Marinette said quietly with a blush, Adrien chuckled a little. "I can't help it, you're just so beautiful."
Marinette's lips curved into a small smile, "My parents are coming over tomorrow... They wanna meet the baby." Adrien grinned, "That's good. You're mom was so excited since we last spoke at the baby shower." Marinette giggled a little.
"Marinette... I love you so much..." Adrien said breathlessly, Marinette felt her heart flutter in her chest as he spoke. "You've given me the world..." He said, and it seemed like he'd been wanting to say that for a while. Marinette pecked his lips, "I love you too Adrien... so, so much..."
The next morning when Sabine and Tom came over, Sabine broke into tears once she saw her grandbaby. Placing kisses across her daughter's face and taking the baby in her arms. "She's got your eyes Adrien, and your hair Marinette..." Sabine cooed, gently rocking the little baby.
Tom smiled at Adrien, then looked at Marinette. "She's beautiful..." He said. Pulling Marinette into a hug, careful not to hurt her since she was so fragile from the hospital. It had only been three says since, and he knew she was still a little sensitive.
Alya and Nino met the baby after she was a week old, the baby was just beginning to smile. By the time she was a four months old her eyes were always constantly open and she had started to laugh. At six months she had finally uttered her first word.
Hearing her say mama had been one of the best moments of his life he would forever cherish. Even if she said said ma-ma and not da-da she was the most adorable little thing. Hearing her speaking for the first time was something he would never forget.

"Thanks for watching her Sabine, we'll be back around 8:00." Adrien said, Sabine grinned as she held Emma. "Please, take all the time you need." With that, Adrien was out of the bakery and had returned to retrieve his wife at home. He decided he would take her out on a date.
He dropped Emilie off with Sabine and Tom while Marinette was getting ready back at the house. He waited in the living room for her to come down stairs. And the moment she did he felt his chest immediately tighten once he saw his stunning wife.
Her hair pulled into a bun and she wore a red dress and the golden jewelry he had gotten her for her birthday. The necklace really bringing out the creamy skin on her defined collar bones. The lights bouncing off her sapphire blue eyes and she was so gorgeous. He couldn't get any luckier.
"So, where we headed?" She asked, snapping him out of his daze as she placed her hands on his chest and he wanted to kiss the life out of her right then and there. "We have three hours for me to take you out for dinner, and then come back here for you as dessert." He said.
Marinette smirked, "Then we better get to it." She said, Adrien grinned and guided his wife to the car, opening and closing the door for her. He took her to a restaurant near where they had first met, when they bumped into each other while she was on a jog.
It was obvious Adrien planned everything, He certainly knew how to flatter a girl. And not just any girl, his wife and the mother to his daughter. The private location of their table with a romantic candlelight dinner of her favorite dishes and rose petals surrounding their table was enough to prove that he knew her inside out.
She felt so loved, only he had this effect on her. Like she was the only girl in the word and she had nothing to be insecure of. He was hers, and she was his.
