"I had just arrived back....and.....I just don't know! I can't explain to you the things I saw," the former CEO was struggling to string the words together, "My employees were going absolutely crazy. One of them turned to me and I swear, her eyes turned black for a moment. Not just the pupils, the entire eye! I-I know how crazy I must sound, but I also know what I saw."
"Did you notice anything strange, anything out of the ordinary? Smells of sulfur, cold spots, anything?" Sam asked, always taking on the role of inquisitor.
"Other than my entire staff having black eyes and trying to kill me? No, nothing out of the ordinary," the man said sarcastically. Sam made his famous bitch face at the man, and Dean tried to suppress a laugh as the CEO muttered, "Dumbasses," offhandedly. Castiel then slowly stood and looked at the man with the most intimidating look he could muster up.
"Answer the questions asked to you in sincerity, Mr. Carlbrough, or you may not like what is coming to you," he said, staring the man down.
"Whoa there man, calm down," Dean laughed, grabbing Castiel's arm. Cas never knew when to be intense and when to back off during hunts, which turned out to be rather entertaining for Dean .
"I am trying to aid you in the interview," Cas said with a confused look.
"Well it's not working, Cas," Dean said, then he noticed the angel's crestfallen face. He quickly turned to the CEO and Sam, and announced, "I'm gonna take Agent Lennon here outside, he's not feeling too well. Agent Tanner, can you finish up this interview?"
Sam looked confused, but nodded and replied, "Sure, Agent Thompson. I'll meet up with the both of you later."
Dean nodded goodbye and took Cas into the hallway and towards the front door of the asylum.
