Rise and shine, jackass!" Sam shouted as he threw a pillow at Dean.
"Ugh. What do you want, Sammy?" Dean rubbed his eyes and shot Sam a bitch face.
"What did you do to Cas, Dean?" Sam asked accusingly.
Dean paused mid-stretch when his brother mentioned the angel. "What about him?" Dean said, suddenly remembering his confusing thoughts from the night before.
"He's gone, Dean. I talked to him, but he said that you seemed to not want him on this hunt. What did you do?" Sam crossed his arms and studied his brother's flushed face.
"What makes you think I did something? Why is it my fault if Cas is being a typical dick angel? Just because he pretends to help us sometimes doesn't mean he's not one of the bastards on the God squad. As far as I'm concerned, he can just stay up there in heaven where he's actually semi-useful." Dean said defensively.
Sam's jaw went slack, and he stood there for a moment with his mouth just hanging open before he shook his head and said, "Seriously? After everything he's done for you, you're gonna stand there and call him a God squad dick?"
"Don't lecture me, Sammy. Remember, who's the baby brother here?" Dean smirked.
"You're a real idiot sometimes, you know that?" Sam shook his head. "The only times I've ever seen you really happy is when you're with Cas."
"Yeah, well it's a little funny watching the guy try to use a microwave, or trying to eat takeout with chopsticks. I like watching him be a damn idiot."
"Whatever you say, man." Sam said, walking away.
"What, you think I have a schoolgirl crush on Cas? Are you really that dumb? I'm as straight as an arrow, Sammy, always have been. So wipe that smug grin off your face, we need to research." Dean said defensively.
"Okay, Dean. Let's get to work," Sam said, shaking his head.
"Bitch."
"Jerk."
Dean smiled, thinking he was off the hook.
A few hours later, Sam was researching at his laptop, and Dean was sitting on his bed watching Dr. Sexy MD.
"So get this," Sam said, walking over towards Dean, "Apparently this exact situation has happened every 100 years, like clockwork."
"Hmm," Dean mumbled, lost in his thoughts.
"Do you think maybe you could try calling Cas down? This seems like his area of expertise." Sam asked hopefully.
"Uh....yeah, sure." Dean answered, looking down at his hands.
"Is that a problem?" Sam asked with a smirk.
"Not at all, Sammy." Dean replied with an equally snarky smirk. "Let's go call down the angel."
