(Your POV)

“Hey hey hey! (F/N)!” A hand touches my shoulder and I jump, turning around with wide eyes. “Woah, woah, it’s just Kou, calm down,” he laughs and I nod. It’s only been two days since the incident and I’ve been a little jumpy.

“Sorry,” I chuckle softly.

“Anyway! I asked Yukie and she said yes!” He smiles brightly at me.

“That’s great Kou!” I smile back at him, “How did she like the pick up line?”

“She said it was too cheesy, but then she kissed me!” He touches his lips in awe and I giggle.

“And Kaori says I’m the hopeless one,” I roll my eyes.

“I say what?”

“Speak of the devil,” I laugh, turning around to face her and Konoha.

“I thought Konoha was the devil?’ Koutarou asks, confused.

“Konoha overcame the devil ages ago,” Akaashi appears and kisses me quickly before facing the sandy haired third year.

“What happened to you respecting your senpais?” Konoha mutters and we all laugh.

“If I had to take a guess, I’d say it’s (F/N)’s fault,” Yukie finally shows up, grabbing Kou’s hand and holding it sweetly.

“Hey! I have the utmost respect for my senpais!” I protest.

“You kick me all the time!” Kou yells.

“I’ve known you since I was five, you’re an exception,” I roll my eyes.

“And me?” Konoha questions.

“I just don’t like you,” I say, shrugging.

“Gahh, whatever. C’mon Suzumeda, (Kaori’s first name)” he huffs, grabbing her hand and dragging her away.

“Someone’s on his period,” Koutarou says and we all facepalm.

“Why am I even friends with you?” Keiji sighs.

“Good question. Let’s go Keiji!” I grab his hand and drag him down the hall happily.

“How are you feeling?” He asks when we slow down.

“Still shaken… but better,” I nod and he bends down, kissing me softly.

“Do you want to hang out later, at my house or something?” He suggests.

“That’d be nice, but let’s not go for anymore midnight snack runs,” I laugh a bit.

“Yeah, that’s probably a good idea,” he says, intertwining our fingers as we walk.

“Ahhh, it’s great to be away from Akari,” I sigh happily, collapsing onto the couch when I enter, Keiji close behind me. He sets his school stuff down and sits next to me, playing with my hair. I lift my head up a bit, “Do we have any food?”

He chuckles softly, “You’re like a dog. Eat, sleep, play, repeat,”

“Gahhh- Rude!” I throw a pillow at him.

“Yes, we have food. Do you want some onigiri?” He stands up again and I nod.

“I’ll help you make it!” I smile at him.

“No, it’s fine, you just rest,” he nudges me towards the couch and I pout.

“But you’re always doing so much for me, just let me help you,”

“I like doing things for you, now go rest,” he pats my head.

“Can I at least talk to you while you’re in the kitchen?” I follow him into the next room and he sighs, but kisses my forehead and nods. “Yayyy!” I cheer, pulling up a chair and chatting with him quietly as he cooks.

“Here’s the onigiri,” Keiji slides it over to me and I beam, eating it quickly.

“Your food is always the best Keiji,” I swallow a bite as he eats his slowly.

“Calm down, I don’t want you to choke,” he glances at me.

“I won’t! Don’t worry!” I shove more of it in my mouth happily. “Do you wanna watch a movie or something?”

“That’d be nice, how about the mystery one that we never finished?”

“Yeah! We only got like ten minutes in before I fell asleep,” I giggle, finishing up my food.

“Yet another piece of evidence towards my dog theory,” he raises an eyebrow.

“Falling asleep quickly does not make me a dog!” I protest, pointing my fork at him accusingly. He doesn’t say anything, but gives me a look and I sigh, “Okay, well maybe it does a little bit, but whatever! Let’s just watch the movie!” I hop up from the chair and run over to the couch. Keiji follows me, sitting down and grabbing the remote. He chooses the movie we never got to finish and leans back, wrapping an arm around me.

About halfway through the movie a loud sound comes from outside and I hop up, glancing out the window. “Oooh, Keiji it looks like it’s gonna storm!”

“Good thing we’re inside then,” he replies, glancing over at me.

“Are you kidding? Let’s go out there! I love thunderstorms!” I beam at him, before running over to the door and pulling my shoes on.

“Wait, (F/N), you’ll get wet,” he stands up too, trying to keep me from opening the door.

“Well duh~ that’s the point!” I kiss his cheek and pull the door open.

He sighs, “At least put a jacket on, I don’t want you getting a cold,”

“Okay!” I slip on his jacket and run outside, he follows me but doesn’t leave the porch. Thunder rumbles again and I laugh, splashing in the puddles. I start to climb up on top of his picnic table.

“(F/N), don’t go up there,” he calls from the porch.

“I’ll be fine!” I yell over the rain, taking my hood off so my hair gets wet. “HAHAHA! YES! THE RAIN SHALL FALL BEFORE ME!” I scream, spreading my arms out and lightning strikes just as I yell. I let out an excited squeak and run back to Keiji, tackling him in a hug. “Did you see that!? Did you see that?! I might be God!”

“I don’t think you’re god,” he shakes his head while smiling up at me.

“I might be! You have no proof!” I stand up, pulling him up with me and beaming at him.

“Just yesterday you got upset that you dropped your ice cream and were pouting until we got home,”

“That was good ice cream!” I protest, flicking some water at him. “Whatever! Anyway, come in the rain with me!” I try to pull him off the porch but he doesn’t move.

“I don’t like getting wet,”

“Keeiijjiii,” I kiss him quickly, then try to drag him out again.

“No,” he crosses his arms stubbornly and I pout.

“Fine then,” I run off and find a bucket, we had brought Akari over here once, and wait for it to fill up with water then rush back to the porch.

He narrows his eyes at the bucket, “No! (F/N), don’t do it- AHH!” He ducks just in time but his hair is soaked. He stands back up and glares at me.

I drop the bucket with wide eyes, “Wait Keiji, I’m sorry! Don’t be mad!” I try to hug him but he turns away. “Keeiijiii,  I’m sorry! Please forgive me!”

He chuckles and turns back to be, kissing my forehead, “You’re such an idiot,”

“But I’m your idiot,” I grab both of his hands, squeezing them gently.

He smiles lovingly at me, “Yes. Yes you are.”
