A/N: IT'S A LONG CHAPTER SO BUCKLE UP (Not sad- just fluffy and long)-- ALSO just peep me mentoning some of the LGBTQ+ community, since it IS pride month and I haven't done anything for yet (yes I know I'm late). Pretty much, I had an urge to write something gay so I DID! Hope you enjoy!

(Your POV- 18 Years Later)

“Daddy! Mommy! I learned a really long word!” Kazuko, me and Keiji’s daughter comes running up to us.

“What is it hun?” I pick up the four year old.

“Eeee-moo-tions!” She draws out each syllable, wiggling excitedly in my grip.

“Can you tell us what it means?” Keiji, ruffles her hair and she nods, thinking really hard.

“It’s like… uhhhh- a fancier word for feelings,” Kazuko smiles up at us and we nod.

“I didn’t know words like that until I was at least 10, she must have inherited your smarts Keiji,” I kiss my husband quickly once Kazuko runs into the other room.

“I think she inherited my looks as well,” he smirks and I gasp, whacking his shoulder playfully.

“Excuse me?” I raise an eyebrow and he chuckles.

“Just kidding. You’re beautiful and smart,” he kisses my head and I cross my arms.

“Mhhmm. Anyway, do you know when Kou and Shirofuku (Yukie’s first name) are coming over?” I glance back at him.

“Sometime around 5 PM. Akinori and Suzumeda are coming too,”

“I can’t wait to see Anzu again!” I smile, thinking of Koutarou and Shirofuku’s daughter.

“The Konoha’s are bringing their kids as well,” Keiji reminds me and I nod.

“I still can’t believe Suzu had twins!” I clap my hands together.

“It was over five years ago,” he chuckles.

“I know! And they still look exactly alike! Can you tell them apart?” I ask.

“No,” he shakes his head, “But Akinori is really good at it, along with Suzumeda,”

“Well, they are their parents so it would make sense,” I muse.

“Hey look! I made a drawing!” Kazuko comes running up to us, stumbling over her own feet. She gets to us and holds up the paper proudly.

“Is that us?! I love it hun!” I kiss her head and inspect the drawing.

“You’re so talented,” Keiji ruffles her hair and she beams up at us.

I gasp, “Let’s put it on the fridge! Wait where are the magnets?” I make a face, searching for them.

“Third cabinet on the left,” Keiji says and I nod, grabbing them and then pinning the paper to the fridge.

“*GASP* Thanks Mommy!” Kazuko blushes a bit while looking at her masterpiece.

“Of course! Do you want to play a board game?” I ask, picking her up.

“Yes! Yes! Hmmmm, can we play the one with black and red circles?” She says, making some vague hand motions.

“Huh?” I ask, just as confused.

“Checkers,” Keiji chuckles and I nod.

“Right! I knew that! Let’s play!” I bring Kazuko over to the living room and pull out the checkers board. “Ready?”
