Nightmare ( bat brothers version)

So a few years ago I posted a chapter called ' nightmares', it was about robin having a nightmare about his parents and miss Martian comforted him. So I decided I'll do a bat brothers version of that chapter. Hope you enjoy)
Ages: Dick-16, Tim 12)

It was a Saturday night at Wayne manor, the boys had gone to bed about a two hours ago. But a little boy was having trouble sleeping as he was having a nightmare about his life before being adopted by Bruce

Timothy drake was in his bed wearing shorts and a T-shirt when he started having a nightmare about his previous life. He started flipping around in his bed trying to stop the nightmare when he suddenly woke up with a gasp. He looks around his room and saw he was just dreaming. He brought his knees up to his chest wanting to cry remembering his nightmare and didn't wanna go back to sleep. He decided to see if his older brother would let him sleep with him. He got out of bed and went to dick's door and knocked on it " dickie? Are you awake?"

Dick was asleep but he woke up to hearing Tim's voice that sounded almost like a whimper. He looks at the door " yeah come on in Timmy"

Tim came in and saw his older brother had just woken up " dick is it ok if I sleep in here with you? I-I'm scared to sleep in my room "

Dick immediately pulled the covers back and motioned him over " of course come on Timmy"

Tim smiles softly and got into the bed with dick " I'm sorry if I woke you up, I just couldn't sleep in my room"

Dick pulled the covers up over them and looks at his brother " do you wanna talk about it Timmy? When I was younger and I had a really bad nightmare, Miss. M comforted me and after I talked about it with her I felt a lot better."

Tim looks at his older brother and sniffles a bit leaning against him " it was about my old life, before I came here. I could remember everything and the horrible things. What was your dream about? "

Dick pets his brothers head and could remember that night so well " it was about the night my parents passed. I had gone down to clear my head after waking up then Megan came in, I think she could sense something was wrong or herd me scream. But she sat beside me talked with me and after talking she hugged me " he smiles softly remembering the care and comfort he received from his ' older sister'.

Tim smiles hearing his older brother talk about his nightmare and how he was comforted " now your doing that for me, you were lucky to have such caring older friends dick. I'm glad I have you"

Dick smiles as he held his brother close to him petting his hair " yeah they were the best, we were more like family then friends. Now I have you, Jason, and Damian to care for and Love, I now know what it's like to have younger brothers." He brought Tim's head forward and kisses his forehead

Tim smiles as he laid against his older brother " I'm glad to have you as my older brother Dick, your the best at comforting. Jason just tells me to stop whining and to suck it up"

Dick chuckles softly and looks at the younger boy " well Jason does tend to act like that Timmy, but he used to have nightmares just as much as anyone. He also came to me for hugs and comfort, but don't tell him I told you that "

Tim yawns and nods " I won't dick I promise. Thank you for everything " he lays down on the pillow and closes his eyes " I love you dick"

Dick smiles and lays down next to him " I love you too Timmy, Sweet dreams" kisses his forehead and goes back to sleep next to his little brother

( so I think I'm going to rewrite a few of my chapters like this since I was running low on ideas. I think that'll be really fun and it'll most likely be dick taking on the role of older brother sometimes while also still being comforted loved by the team he considers his older siblings)
