There was still two hours before sunrise when Jungkook and Taehyung climbed into the car designated to take them to the hospital.

Tae helped a sleeply Jungkook with his seatbelt as the door was closed behind him. Both driver and passenger door opened, Jin and one of their body guards slipping into each seat. As the car started up and pulled from the parking lot, Taehyung lightly intertwined his fingers with the youngers, who's head rested upon his shoulder, on the verge of falling asleep.

"Are you excited Kookie, you might get your casts off today."

Jungkook's head quickly popped up, eyes still closed in sleep, as he nodded at his hyungs question before dropping his head back upon the older boys shoulder once again.

Tae let out a chuckle at the boys action, resting his head upon the boys, content to let him sleep until they arrived at their destination.

He, for one, was happy and excited at the possibility of removing Jungkook's casts, as he'd finally get to hold his boyfriend's hand properly.

It was a hard impact, denting and contorting metal, cracking and shattering glass, sending the vehicle fishtailing, before it came to a screeching halt, the car responsible for the hit and run, speeding away into the darkness that still clung to the sky, leaving the passengers within the crushed metal, dazed, scared, and bleeding.

He looked out the rearview mirror as his screeching tires took him further and further away.

It was a shame that he had to involve Jin and Taehyung, especially Taehyung, into the collision, but he had no choice.

He needed Jungkook dead.

Still, knowing they were also in the vehicle, he tried to be careful, aiming his car for Jungkook alone. Hopefully their injuries, if any, aren't too severe, he didn't want to hurt the others, and he definitely didn't want to kill them.

It was only Jungkook he wanted dead.

"How is he?" Tae asked as soon as the doctor exited the room. Luckily, he and Jin managed to escape the ordeal without a scratch, but Jungkook hadn't been so lucky, as he had made contact with the window upon impact, leaving him bleeding from his head.

"He's fine, don't worry, wounds to the head always bleed rather heavily, even with minor injuries. He has a small gash located at his hairline that we cleaned and bandaged, the wound itself will heal on it's own. He also has a few superficial scratches and cuts, but again, they required nothing more than a cleaning. The biggest concern with the head injury was the possibility of a concussion, which I tested him for, and all checked out fine."

Jin and Taehyung breathed a sigh of relief.

"That's good news."

"He has a bit of a headache, but that's to be expected, it'll pass." the doctor reported. "Now, as for his wrists, I had them x-rayed, everything looks good, we'll be able to remove the casts today."

Both boy's smiled at the good news.

"Can we see him?" Tae asked.

"Of course. I'll have a nurse come in shortly to remove the casts.  When I finish speaking to detective Kim, I'll return for a final check of his wrists and head before discharging him."
