"I've, got some good news, Mr. Bang. All of Mr. Jeon's paperwork has been reinstated, the boy is officially alive."

"Well, that certainly is good news. Are we able to have the previous assault against him acknowledged?" Bang questioned.

"Unfortunately, I can't give a definitive answer in regards to the assault, that decision will ultimately come down to the judge, and whether they accept it or not, especially considering Jungkook was proven to be alive after the assault took place."

Bang nodded in understanding.

"However, we can put in a request for detectives Kim and Bahk to recharge Mr. Jeong, and hope it's accepted by the court when the time comes."

"I think that would be the best course of action." Bang agreed.

"Now that the boy's been declared alive, I've added him to the restraining order against Mr. Jeong as well."

The CEO hummed in approval. "Good, I am both, happy and relieved to hear that, my only hope is it all comes to an end soon, for Jungkook's sake."

Jae couldn't believe he was in this room again.

What were they gonna attempt to accuse him of now?

One of the detectives placed an open file before him and his lawyer as he spoke. "You reported being assaulted some months back by two men you claimed you couldn't identify." Jae remained quiet as his lawyer looked through the file presented. "What you failed to mention, was you hired those men to commit the assault on you in the first place." Kim stated.

"Detective," Jaekuk's lawyer spoke up, drawing the detectives attention to him, "proving that my client paid to have himself assaulted, for whatever reasons he may have had for doing so, doesn't prove him responsible of any wrongdoing. The assault in question, was upon himself, and therefore no crime committed."

"Except for the false report of assault by your client, which is a misdemeanor punishable by a large fine and possible jail time of a year."

Jae narrowed his eyes at the detective seated before him.

"A fine, yes, possibly probation, but no judge will issue jail time."

"Maybe, maybe not, but considering he's the main suspect of a major ongoing investigation, I'm sure the judge will be willing to take that into account when sentencing."

"If you're referring to the incident with Jeon Jungkook detective, need I remind you, the boy has been legally dead for two years and can not be-"

"Correction," the detective stated, effectively cutting the attorney off as he handed over a document for the man to examine, "Jeon Jungkook was officially declared alive two days ago."

"This still doesn't-"

"Yesterday morning at five o'clock, Jeon Jungkook was the target of an attempted murder, meant to look like a hit and run. This is not the first attempt on the boys life, councillor, and your client has, not only, blatantly made clear his hatred for Jungkook, he was heard screaming, and I quote, "you're suppose to be dead, why couldn't you stay dead". Your client also has motive. Mr. Jeong was a trainee with BTS, and was more than likely to debut with the group, but was replaced with Jungkook a week or so beforehand, which led to Mr. Jeong leaving the company and ending his idol career before it started. Despite the fact that he was offered to play lead in another group, or become a solo artist, he still chose to walk away, accusing Jungkook of stealing his life, as he was heard screaming, "you had to come back and take my life from me again.""

Jae snapped. "He did steal my life! He stole everything!" His attorney, Mr. Park, tried to calm him, telling him not to say anything, but Jae was livid, "I didn't want a solo career, I didn't want to be leftovers for another group! I wanted my hyungs! I wanted Bangtan!"

He was close to cracking, this outburst proved it, and the detectives tried to take advantage of that.

"You blamed him for stealing your life, and decided to get rid of him by kidnapping him, faking his death, had him held captive for years, and then conveniently made yourself available to replace him."

"Don't say anything." Mr. Park instructed Jaekuk before addressing the detectives. "You can't just accuse my client of such a crime because of his dislike of Mr. Jeon."

Detective Kim handed the attorney a copy of the case file, watching Jaekuk's reaction to the accusation carefully as Mr. Park reviewed the contents of the file.

"This is all circumstantial detective, you have nothing that points directly at my client as being a viable suspect. You have no eye witnesses, no DNA, nothing in the way that could be proven beyond reasonable doubt, and as I said, having a strong dislike of someone, isn't a viable motive for murder." Mr. Park stated.

The detective smiled knowingly at the attorneys statement, as if he knew more than he was letting them believe, which had Mr. Park on guard.

The detective turned his piercing gaze back to Jaekuk, the small, knowing smile, falling from his lips as he did so, face now smoothed into it's previous seriousness.

"Where were you between the hours of five and six o'clock yesterday morning, Mr. Jeong?"

"Don't answer that."

He snorted mentally at the whole investigation, and their so-called evidence. They were grasping at straws.

They had nothing.

He knew it, and they knew it.

It's a shame the little bitch survived, but he wasn't surprised, after all, he tried not harm the other's.

And as for him being 'alive' again, he chuckled internally as a smirk formed on his face, let the little bunny rabbit relish and enjoy his return to the land of the living, he wouldn't be staying much longer.

Detective Bahk walked through the court house doors, file in hand, and immediately reached for his cell. He hit speed dial on a long familiar number, making his way down the front steps and toward his car as the line rang.

The line was picked up in the middle of it's fourth ring.

"Detective Kim."

"We got it, the ink of the judges signature still fresh. I'm headed back now." Bahk informed his partner as he climbed into his car. Messaged relayed, Bahk ended the call, lightly tossing file and phone onto the passenger seat before securing his seatbelt and keying his engine, turning his car toward the precinct.

Kim ended the call with Bahk and quickly got to work tapping away at his computer. Armed with their court order, they could now gain access to any and all personal information on Jaekuk, dive as deep into his background as they could to find what they were looking for.

"We got you now, you son of a bitch."
