Alexia's PoV

Ironic huh? I swore to myself I would never come back until the world ends. And yet I'm here trying to prevent the world from ending Ha!

I dug through the cabinets mindlessly until a memories flashed through my brain.

What do you mean, that I can't give --- to the ---- center!

Sir, you ------- abandon ----- when you are in living condition.

*Beep Beep*

Dam it!

Mr.Jones walked over to the blue cabinets, he opened the second drawer. I remember him reaching and fiddle around with it for a couple second before there was a click. When he lifted his hand out of the cabinet it revealed a long rectangular box, around 2 feet long. I remember never knowing what is inside, cause Aubry pulled me away before I got in trouble in deep trouble. Maybe it's still there.....

I stood up and walked to the blue cabinet.

Now to think about it it's really suspicious that that was the only blue cabinet in the room... Alright, the second top drawer...

I tugged on the handle and to my surprise, it wasn't locked. At first glance, it was an avarge drawer, files, binders and paper. Then Iat the very corner I noticed a little lock.

"Hey, Luna! I got a Lock for you to pick!" I called over my shoulder as I quickly pulled all the files out and dumped it on to the floor and inspect the lock a bit more.

"Sure, what kind of lock?" Luna said pulling the bobby pins out of her hair that I didn't even realize was there.

"I'm not sure, it's really small though," I said.

"Great!The smaller the better!" Luna said as she peered into the drawer.

"Huh... Interesting... An industrial lock no bigger than a normal padlock in an average house no less... This is going to be difficult" Luna muttered.

"Huh? why?" I asked.

"Well, it's hard to get your hands on an industrial padlock when you work a minimum wage job and is in a school for troubled teens, I could probably pick it though but it could take a while...." Luna explained as she pined the bobby pin back and taking out a thin wire. 

Luna's PoV

Well, I guess I'm PIcking an industrial lock, I guess it's a privilege in a weird way... Welp, it's a good thing I brought a wire cause that bobby pin ain't gonna cut it.

I twisted the wire and stuck it inside the hole. Every lock is pretty easy to pick after you learned the basic principle of the lock it's pretty simple. Every lock is made of 5 main parts, and each part has a different shaped slot, that's what makes picking lock hard, there is no same key unless you get a duplicate.  To pick a lock you have to make sure that your tool fits into the slots perfectly. You can tell if the tool is in the correct place if you hear a click. So basically lock picking is stabbing your tool all over the place until you here click. So I stab the pin in for a couple of mins and then I heard a familiar Click...

"Hey, Alexia! I think I got it!" I said as a compartment in the back clicked open. Alexia came running over and I opened the compartment and inside was a long rectangular box. I quickly handed the box and Alexia froze, I peeked over and I was shocked, Inside was a staff with a slive shaft and at the end was a golden sapphire.

OMG, it's the staff...

I quickly regained my conscious and shook Alexia who was still in shock. She snapped out of it and closed the box.

"COME ON WE GOT IT!" I whispered screamed not wanting to alert anyone. We quickly tucked the box into Jurai's backpack and we started to climb out the window. With Will going first, then Elena, then Jurai so we are basically sandwiching Jurai in between us. I was about to go I heard the door open.

Crap! 

"Well, well, well... Dear daughter, it's not polite to steal from your dad,"

Double crap!

I quickly Flipped back in and stood beside Alexia.

"What do you want? You can't stop us from taking the staff!"Alexia snarled, which is very unlike her.

"Or can I? I got you all surrounded if you don't believe me take a peak," Mr.Jonhs said confidently. We turned over and were shocked by what we saw, in the short few seconds we were talking to his swarms of monsters have surrounded our friends. No matter how skilled we are there is no way we can fight of that many or even hold them back for long enough to shadow travel away.

"The staff you have is strong enough to disintegrate all monsters and get you away safely, but it only has one use, but the question is are you willing to use it? The Olympian knew perfectly well that the place was swarmed with monsters and is physically impossible to get out of here with no casualties, they sent you to your death. Or you could join me and stay safe." he said. I looked and Alexia, when we are sent on this quest we might not make it out alive, and we all agreed that if we don't make it back we WILL make sure the WHOLE WORLD knows we did our best IF we are going to die we are going out with a BANG. 

"NO," when we started this quest we all knew, even the Olympian knew that we might not make it back. We WILL bring it back and prove everyone wrong We both replied, then we flipped out a 2 story high building (something only a demigod would do) and joined our friends.

A/N Disclaimer!! in the part where I wrote Luna picking the lock I was making EVERYTHING up, I don't know how to pick a lock, I don't recommend you learn to pick a lock and steal things. I only wrote them able to pick locks for the plot and story, I'm not a 20-year-old who is a professional don't' judge me, bye!
