Seeing his crush in a flower shop he always went to wasn't even a thing in the shorter boy's dream.
The bell on top of the door chimes a few times when the door closed shut behind the composer.
The blond haired are currently going into self dilemma to run away as far as he could, but for some weird reason, his feet stay rooted to the ground.
Meanwhile the red haired went to stand before the him, leaving the boy with no choice but to face him.
"Jihoon, I wanted to talk to you."
Judging by how calm the tiger boy's tone of voice, it was hard to actually guess what the boy want to talk about. But both of them knew perfectly well what they wanted.
"I needed to go somewhere else."
It wasn't a lie, he initially had a plan today, unlike every other day. But to say that he didn't want to run away would also be a lie.
"Can't I come with you?"
At times the boy resembled a hamster, and when dancing he resembled a tiger.
So now, instead of looking like a lost dog on the corner of the streets, the not-so-secret admirer could only see him as a lost hamster that spoke through its eyes to bring it home and feeds it sunflower seeds.
"Fine..."
Then Jihoon proceed to walk to a group of flowers in one of the many bundle of various flowers, pick some of the flower and head to the woman behind the counter who seemed to enjoy seeing their little interaction slash drama that happened just seconds ago.
She looked at the flowers he had put, while preparing the paper and ribbon to decorate it.
"Lupinus bucket? Is it that day already?"
The employee didn't say anything more after seeing the boy nod as a reply. She quickly wrapped the bucket tightly with the bow and hands it to the boy.
"It's free. Just tell her I said hi"
And with that, the two boys with two different flower on their hands walked out of the flower shop in complete silence.
Soonyoung wasn't a stranger to the language of silence, so he just tail the other like a lost hamster behind him.
After a while they went to the bus station and the blond reluctantly sit next to the red haired on the bus to their destination.
"Jihoon, I originally wanted to send you notes to reply to your flower, but accidentally put it in Wonwoo's instead"
"I know"
"I'm sorry- wait what- what?
Jihoon knew that already.
Wonwoo had literally jumped out of nowhere and slapped the notes he's been receiving in front of his eyes, to show that the notes weren't addressed to the glasses boy.
"If you knew, then why did you avoid me?"
Avoiding the hamster-like boy as if he was the black plague weren't on his to do list, it was just a very natural reaction he had towards the other boy.
Knowing his long time crush liked him back weren't as beautiful as he had thought. The shorter boy's heart didn't feel at ease, even though he should be.
Instead, the thought running through his mind were;
'So they the feeling's mutual. So what? What's next? What happens then?'
It drove the cola-loving boy crazy, he barely got any good night sleep. He was supposed to have his own happy ending, right? But why does the idea of 'the future' scares him so much?
Is it normal to freak our over things that may or may never happen, even when the odds are more on the good side?
"I... don't know"
The conversation halted just like their bus does, and not wasting this chance the blond get off the bus with the red haired trying his best to keep up.
