I woke up before Noah, so I decided to get dressed and pack my stuff for school. I quickly grabbed the blanket and pillow I was sleeping on, but I had to leave the one I had to keep warm since Noah stole half of it in the middle of the night. I quickly climbed back into my room and grabbed my clothes and makeup. I walked to the bathroom and started changing and doing makeup. I decided I didn't want to look like the walking dead, so I put on foundation and concealer. I also decided that eyeliner, mascara and eye shadow were a good choice. I went with some black eyeshadow, and just some simple winged eyeliner. Once I was was done with makeup and put on black ripped jeans, Dock Martins, a Twenty One Pilots Shirt and a My Chemical Romance hoodie. I walked back to my room and saw Noah climbing back in through the window. I quickly hid my face, and pretended to check my bag.

"Hey Atlas, morning." Noah said, yawning.

"Oh, hey." I responded, "How'd you sleep?"

"Good, sleeping outside on the garage roof was really nice actually."

"Yeah it is, I've slept out there for the night I've been here. Anyways, you really need to get ready for school." I told him, throwing his bag at him.

"Ok, ok. You don't have to throw my bag at me, gosh." Noah said, walking past me laughing and shaking his head.

"Whatever Noah." I said, double checking my bag to make sure I got everything and turning on some music.

As I was checking my bag I realized that Noah and I were getting along pretty good, I was really happy to have a friend. I smiled to myself and started singing along to a song that came on. I few minutes went by when I heard a 'shhh' come from the doorway.  I paused what I was putting back in my bag and looked over to see Noah, Julian and May standing there. I froze in place and completely blanked about what to say.

"Wow....." Noah whispered, staring at me.

"Um, hi everyone." I said nervously.

"Hey there Atlas, just came in to tell you that breakfast is ready, I heard some talking so I thought you were awake.

"Oh, thank you, I'll be down in a second. I'm just double checking my stuff."I informed her, gesturing towards my bag.

"Alright. See you down there soon." May said, pulling Julian downstairs with her.

Noah walked into the room and started packing his stuff up for school. I knew he wanted to say something to me about my singing, it was a really awkward silence.

"Look Noah," I said, " I know you want to say something about my singing, so please do, this is a really awkward silence."

"Ok, I will say something about it." he replied. "You are an amazing singer."

"Yeah, I'm ok at singing, but I'm not that good," I told him. " Anyway, May said food was almost done so finish getting your school bag ready."

"Ok, I will."

I walked over to my desk and grabbed my laptop and headset, I also grabbed my headphones for when I'm walking around the school. I looked over at the window and realized we never closed it, I put down my laptop and walked over to the window and closed it. I quickly finished getting my computer and art stuff together and grabbed all my bags.

"Noah, you ready to go?" I asked, hitching my bags onto my shoulder.

"Uh, yeah, Lets go."

We both headed downstairs, setting our bags next to our chairs and we sat down to eat. May made eggs, hash browns, and bacon, she also gave us each a a cup of fresh squeezed orange juice. We both quickly finished our food and grabbed our bags, heading outside to wait for the bus. We walked up the driveway and made it to the bench that was the bus stop, it had a bench inside a little hut thing in case it rained. The two of us stood there for a few minutes until the bus got there, I followed Noah onto it. There was a decent amount of kids on the bus so it was weird with all the kids eyes following me as I walked down the bus isle to the backseats and I sat next to Noah. I took my phone out and sketch book out and starting listening to some music and drawing. I started a new sketch of the brunette boy who was so nice next to me. I carefully drew his face and tried to get all the details and flaws on his face. He had one dimple and little freckles over the bridge of his nose. I was so engrossed in drawing Noah, that I didn't even realize the kid in front of me was peaking over and watching me draw. I was almost done with the rough draft the the kid spoke up.
