I'm extremely pissed off by our Philippine Government so enjoy the comedic angst for the mean time.

The next day came faster than Donghyuck thought. The Talent Show was also nearing and he was thankful that he became friends with Mia fast. He also met Lia later that day and became friends with her too, learning that the two were best friends since childhood.

Donghyuck was excited to start the day, a rare occasion to happen of course. He was practically skipping his way towards the Music building since he was excused for the whole day to practice the piece that his teacher gave him.

"You seem enthusiastic today?" Harvey asked as he bumped with Donghyuck on the way to the Music building.

"Harvey! I haven't seen you in a while." Donghyuck smiled.

"Ah, of course. I was too busy with my classes. I didn't know that SMU was this busy."

"I hope you adjust quickly, it's just the first semester." Donghyuck chuckled.

"You're literally glowing right now." Harvey laughed. "May I know why?"

"I'm just really excited to sing for the Talent Show. It's been a while since I last did so." Donghyuck sighed in contentment. "I'm just really happy."

"You sure that's the only reason?" Harvey raised his brow. "Your hair looks a tad bit different today, maybe styled?"

"C'mon, it's just hair." Donghyuck laughed. "Also, I'm gonna be performing a song that my cousin made so I'm also excited to sing it in front of everyone."

"I've been hearing rumors that says your Moon Taeil's cousin?"

"Could confirm," Donghyuck shrugged. "We're both vocal legends, runs in the family." Donghyuck playfully winked.

"I love the confidence." Harvey smiled. "I'll get going, I think Renjun needs some help with his portfolios anyway."

"Tell him to loosen up, he's been stressing about his tasks the past days that he wasn't even able to sleep properly." Donghyuck patted Harvey's shoulder.

"Try telling Mark that." Harvey laughed. "I'll get going, see you around!"

Speaking of Mark, Donghyuck realized that he hasn't seen Mark the whole day yesterday.

"I wonder how he's doing..." Donghyuck mumbled. "Did he even get proper rest?"

Donghyuck stared from afar as he wondered how the older was. Mark usually texts him at the evening, asking how his day went but yesterday, not a single text or even trace of Mark was seen.

Donghyuck only shrugged and continued walking towards the Music Building and passed by the Science Building where he saw Jaemin talking to Mark who looked more distressed than usual.

"Thanks for the breakfast, hyung." Jaemin gratefully smiled. "But I don't know why Taeyong hyung is still doing this when he knows already how much I want him to be my brother-in-law."

"I also don't know. Jaehyun hyung never does these stuff for me." Mark laughed but immediately stopped when he saw Donghyuck walking towards them, causing him to awkwardly cough instead.

"Oh? Free breakfast?" Donghyuck chuckled. "Hey, where's mine?" Donghyuck joked as he nudged Mark by his shoulder, wrapping an arm around Jaemin's shoulder after.

"Taeyong hyung gave it to me. He said he's trying to be a good brother-in-law." Jaemin laughed. "Too bad, Mark's brother-in-law is Jaehyun hyung."

"Your brother's hot, so it's fine." Donghyuck laughed.
