Lessons learned from corona
1. The powerful countries of the world have spent crores to build nuclear bombs as well as systems to counter those, they have spent crores for space science also but no country has built a system that can resist an epidemic.
Very little research has been done in microbiology although a lot of research in microbiology should have been done. However, no country has shown much of interest so research in microbiology did not get more scope. How dangerous these minute organisms can be the humans have realised now. Had there been a little more research on viruses, if we had a little more knowledge about viruses then we could have easily resisted this corona. Our knowledge about viruses is very limited.
Now in these days of danger we are respecting microbiologists very much. Till date they were underpaid. They have not been given opportunities for research. They have not been given their due respect. Today they are working day and night, putting their lives at stake, in their attempt to resist corona. Only they can save the human civilization from the bite of corona. They are more important than cricketers or film stars. We have come to realise this only today.
2. Doctors, nurses, health workers, scientists, politicians, government officers, police, media, bankers are all fighting together against corona. The scientists are more important than cricketers or film stars come to realise only today because in these days of danger these underpaid scientists are our only hope.
However, the most saddening fact is that some of the public is unwilling to cooperate. If you want to stop corona virus then cooperation of the public is very important. But now the public is the biggest enemy of the public. The public is not willing to cooperate with the public so the police is having to make the public understand by force.
3. When we say we will not pollute the atmosphere, we will save this world then it is a mistake because we do not have the capacity to save the world. This world was already there before we were created. When we will be finished it will still be there. If we disrespect this nature then this nature will finish us. We must not forget that we are surviving in this world by taking advantage of the hospitality of nature.
