We and the earth On this earth however great and intelligent we might consider ourselves, perhaps, we are not so. This universe is huge and is continuously growing. The space is immense and there are many stars from where it takes millions of years to reach our earth. We have been able to travel to very few places of this space. If we analyse the timeline of this universe we will find that 1380 crore years ago the Big Bang happened, the Universe was created and space and timeline started. 456 crore years ago - creation of this earth. 390 crore years ago - creation of the first life on this earth. 38 crore years ago - creation of tree like plants. 23 crore years ago - the first dinosaur. 15.5 crore years ago - the first bird. 10 crore years ago - the first bees. 6.5 crore years ago - the dinosaur species was completely destroyed. 1, 95, 000 years ago - creation of human species in Africa. 38,000 years ago - the humans learnt to tame dogs. 6000 years ago - human civilization. 5000 years ago - use of coins started first in China. 4500 years ago - beginning of Hinduism. 2500 years ago - Buddhism 2000 years ago - Christianity. 1400 years ago - Islam. 500 years ago - advancement of science. 200 years ago - industrial revolution. 25 years ago - technological revolution. 50 years ago - globalisation.

How to Overcome Depression Depression is a social disease. It can affect people of different age and socio-economic class; the rich, the poor, the young, the old, the educated or the uneducated. But first it has to be understood, why depression occurs. The reasons behind depression may be manifold- economic, social, family, political anything. Marital life, Education, career, greed for money, power, position, love, impotence, childlessness, disturbed family life, exploitation of women by their in-laws, unemployment, sudden loss of jobs, huge loss in business etc. What are the ways of combating depression? Depression can be cured with the help of love, motivation and meditation.

Science and Religion "The more I study science, the more I believe in God."-Albert Einstein. According to the religious concept, Universe is a living being and Emotion(Love) is the regulator of the Universal rule. God is the soul of the Universe. But Scientists have doubt that if God creates the Universe, then who creates the God?

An eternal love story There was a small town. And there was a boy who loved a girl very much. The girl was a Muslim and the boy was a Hindu. The boy repeatedly expressed his love but the girl rejected because this world, this society would not understand this love. Both of them had no other option. Riot had struck that time although there was no good reason for the riot between Hindus and Muslims. It just started. It was blood all over. One day the boy found that girl in a dark alley. She was smeared with blood. The boy picked her up and took her to the hospital. The doctor in the hospital was a friend of this boy so there was no dearth of treatment. The girl, however, needed a lot of blood. The boy got his blood group tested and donated blood to the girl. While donating blood the boy experienced an unusual feeling. More than the pleasure of coitus he felt a satisfaction which was impossible to describe in words. When the girl regained consciousness she saw the boy. Her eyes swelled up with tears. The boy wiped her tears and said, "Every drop of tear rolling down your eyes is more precious than a drop of blood dripping from my heart." Later, the boy was returning home along a dark alley when a gang of Muslims caught him and took him to a graveyard. The boy asked, "Why are you killing me?" One Muslim answered, "A boy from your area has made this graveyard unholy so we are taking revenge."

Post-corona social system During flood or any other emergency situation the condition of the poor becomes the most terrible. The corona situation is also not an exception. It is the duty of man to assist those helpless people. Poverty is man-made. Unequal distribution of wealth results in poverty otherwise with the resources that there is in our earth no one is expected to die for lack of food. One class of people waste so the other class of people remain deprived. 5000 years ago, coins where brought into use in China. Since then, out of greed for wealth one class started torturing the others. As a consequence, two different classes were created, the rich and the poor. The poor sacrifice all of their opportunities for every kind of convenience of the rich but the rich do not care for the poor. If we want to defeat corona completely then those helpless people must have to be assisted.

Neel and the strange animal First Neel. My name is Neel. Four friends have set off for an unusual expedition. What will be the result? We don't know. Shall we really be able to return alive? I think the guarantee of not returning is 100%. We are setting off for an isolated island in the Pacific Ocean. That island is so dangerous that I am unable to describe. At every step danger awaits us. Still we have set off. But, what is the purpose of our expedition? On that isolated island in the Pacific Ocean a strange type of animal has been seen. It is estimated to be about twenty feet in length. The scientific world is very worried about that strange animal. If we can capture and bring that animal then a lot of mysteries would be solved. But our purpose is not to solve mysteries. If we can capture that animal alive then we will get a lot of - quite a lot of money. This is the kind of agreement we have had. However, we will have to do this job in extreme secrecy. The media must not get to know.

Corona and the possibilities in Indian economy Before corona Technological revolution, globalization, nuclear weapons, debt trap diplomacy are changing global order. After corona sustainable development will be the major key maker. India will show this path to the world.

How to choose a leader in democracy The adage goes that politicians and diapers should be changed regularly. The reasons are the same the same. Keeping them for long makes them dirty. If a politician holds power for a long time morally he becomes weak. He/she is then driven by personal interest and greed for power. At this phase, he/she starts exploiting others. The failure of democracy lies here Here, my opinion is different. If a democracy lies in incompetent hands, then changing the same does not carry any sense. Therefore, democracy should be delegated to eligible people. He/she should be a learned person with a good moral character.

Self realization Are self-actualization and self-realization the aims of human life? Many will be unanimous on this subject. 'Self-actualization need' has been given an important place in Maslow motivation theory. Vedanta is the study of self-realization and yoga is the path to attain self-realization. Truth is the one but the path to attain that can be different, so through different kinds of yoga we are able to attain self-realization.

Corona First Modern science today is in the heyday of its advancements. Humans are creating nuclear and hydrogen weapons, sending spaceship to the Moon and Mars, yet we are unable to tackle Corona - a virus so small, it can't even move a lot on its own. All those first world nations, once filled with so much pride in their power and development, today have become helpless lambs in front of the wolf named Coronavirus. Perhaps we shouldn't have overestimated the intelligence of USA and Europe. Yet medical science hasn't been able to come up with a vaccine for the novel Coronavirus and that compels us to look for the solution within.

The true reality of life Different wise men have differing opinions about life. What is the aim of life? Religion, money, lust and salvation? Competition or collaboration? Many probably know the story. Four blind friends set off to know how an elephant looks. The person who touched the trunk of the elephant said that the elephant looks like a banana tree. The person who touched yaar of the elephant said that the elephant looks like a bamboo sieve. The person who touched the leg of the elephant said that the elephant looks like a pillar. The person who touched the tail of the elephant said that the elephant looks like a rope.

The Future World Devoid of Human Existence This is a future condition of the planet earth when it is no longer suitable for human habitation. Maybe human beings are responsible for that. The dissolved oxygen in the air has become so toxic that man cannot breathe in such air. Majority of human beings have left the earth. Those who could not have died due to lack of pure oxygen. This toxic oxygen has caused the death of millions of people and also animals.

Colourful birds Colourful birds spread their wings In the sky they fly. Some humans hold those birds captive in cages. Inside the cages those birds keep on sobbing. Still, why I know not, Some humans hold those birds captive in cages. O Lord, give me strength. So that I may set those birds free from the captivity of cages and return those to the bosom of the sky. I want those colourful birds, in the bosom of the sky spread their wings and fly again. The message of peace and freedom may spread all over the world. Internal freedom is more important than external freedom. Free your inner soul bird.

Feelings and Illusions Beauty is a feeling. Had we not looked at the rose would it have been beautiful? Had the name of rose not been rose but instead it would have been something else then would we have loved it? Nothing matters with the name. If we look at the rose and say it's beautiful then it becomes beautiful. Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Whatever creates happiness in our mind that is beautiful. All the feelings are being controlled by hormones. So the feeling of beauty, form, flavour, fragrance, touch, music every feeling is the creation of hormones. In one word we can say everything is illusion.

Adventure of Camelia Camellia, my name is Camellia. Today is a special day of my life. A spaceship from NASA will leave for outside of solar system a little later. I have got an opportunity as an Indian woman. Today is the most thrilling day of my life. I believe in God but have never seriously worshipped. I believe education, work and service to be true worship. However, before leaving for such a big adventure I paid obeisance to my parents and God. My parents are not alive. Had they been alive they would have been very happy today. Modern science considers that after death the existence of humans doesn't end. Their vitality enters into a huge black darkness. If they can see me from there then certainly their chests will swell with pride. I think there are two persons in our mind. One is a soldier and the other is a lover. The aim of the soldier is success and that of the lover is happiness. Sometimes I feel, I am a very insignificant creature in this universe. Then all my vanity goes away. Again sometimes, I feel that this sky, ocean, mountain belong to me. The sun, the moon, the millions of stars in the sky, all belong to me. Nobody can snatch those away from me. Then the narrowness of my mind goes away. Then I can connect myself with the Supreme. My co passenger, Robert Malcolm is a test tube clone. The brain of one dead scientist has been transplanted in him. Several biomedical memory cards have been inserted in his brain. To improve his decision making power a chip has been put in his brain so, from many options, he can easily decide the best. It is about time. Both of us are completely ready. A while later we will leave.

One death and one affair The incident happened right in front of my eyes. It happened so fast, I couldn't do anything. A lorry came from behind and knocked the boy down. The boy fell flat on his face with his limbs sprawled. A few of us carried the blood-smeared boy to the hospital. The doctor said that he had no chance of survival. As he lay in the cabin of the hospital he looked at me and said that he wanted to meet a girl. So, unwillingly I had to call her. I called the girl and told her everything. The girl clearly replied, "No, I don't love him now." I was surprised. In anger I told her, "Look, whether you love him or not is not important now. Before dying he wants to meet with you once. So, you should come." The girl said, "Had it been some other day I would have thought. Today there is the college annual function. Today it's not possible for me to go." The girl disconnected the call. Proving wrong the many synonyms of the word 'woman,' like affection, concern, pity, love, fondness, the girl didn't come to meet the boy. The boy died at nine in the night. The girl, at that time, was shaking her hips with some other boy in the college annual function.

My first love and me You are beautiful because I think that You are beautiful. This is experience only. Incarnation of Lord Brahma (the untold story of Hindu mythology) 16th February, 3102 BC. This day was important for this world because on this day kalyug has started on this world. At the end of dwaparyug Lord Vishnu had taken the incarnation form of Lord Krishna. After Lord Krishna left behind his human form kaliyug started on this world. Brahma, Vishnu and Mahadev are the three Lords, Tridev. The incarnation form of Vishnu had become so famous that Bramha and Mahadev also wanted to take incarnation forms on this world. 16th February, 3102 BC. On mount Kailash meeting of Tridev is going on. Lord Vishnu is trying to explain, "Lord Brahma you are the creator. You have created this world. What is the need for you to take incarnation form? This is my department." Lord Brahma told Lord of the Lords, Mahadev and Lord Vishnu, "But I also want to take the incarnation form of human in this world." Lord Vishnu said, "But if we, Tridev started taking excessive incarnation forms in this world then the humans will get confused. Then maybe they will start fighting among themselves." Lord of the Lords, Mahadev said, "If Lord Brahma wants to take incarnation from then we should support him. You are the protector of this world. If you want some solution must come out." Lord Vishnu replied, "Alright, you take the incarnation form but there is a condition. You will not take the incarnation form in Aryavart. You will do so in Mesopotamia. This incarnation form of yours will create three religions and bring a lot of changes in this world." Lord Brahma took the incarnation form in this world in 2000 BC. The name of this incarnation is Abraham.

The day of the holocaust The day of the holocaust would be the last day of human civilization. All of this has been pre-decided in the wheel of time. The creation is very unhappy which is why Lord Vishnu, Brahma The Creator and all the other gods and goddesses came to meet the lord of the lords, Mahadev, on Kailash mountain. Lord Vishnu requested the Mahadev, "O, Lord of the Lords, Mahadev, we all want the day of the holocaust to be delayed by a thousand years." The Mahadev replied, "But why Narayan? You already know that in the wheel of time, the day of the holocaust has already been fixed."

Shortcomings of Democracy and Solution Is democracy the perfect form of government ? Majority wins the power in the democracy . But majority could not be right all the time . If the awareness level of the majority is less, then their decision could not be perfect. As a result there will be misuse of power. We are aware that responsibility comes along with the power which should be maintained. The one Who can take that responsibility, power must be given to that person. Power should always be given to the efficient person. Most of the time in democracy we see that the power has gone to the inefficient person . In that case it is impossible to stop the misuse of power. In the failure of democracy a persons poor character plays an important role . If we analyze human character, if the power is handed over to an unworthy person, then the person becomes corrupted. Then his self interest and greed of the power will get importance, instead of democracy . Corruption would increase rapidly inside the system.
